Awhile ago most of the eGo batteries floating around (or at least the ones I got) were a little different than the majority of eGo batteries around today.
This is an old picture on the Madvapes site, they carry the newer style now, but you can see the difference in the batteries:

If you can't see the difference, look at the head part with the switch and 510 connector. The button itself is soft rubber or some sort, not hard clear plastic like the newer ones. The diameter of the silver section that houses the switch is the exact same diameter as the rest of the battery, the newer ones are all a few millimeters smaller in diameter. The length of the 510 connector is different as well. When using shorty cones the 510 connector sticks up a bit from the cone, with these older styles it would sit nearly flush.
From memory, I could have sworn they were heavier than the newer ones too, but that could just be from getting so used to heavier mods, that eGo batteries feel incredibly light now, but I could have sworn there was a weight difference.
Does anyone know of a vendor or a specific brand of eGo style batteries that still use this design? Or was this an older design that has since stopped being produced? Hope not, I personally think they looks much nicer. I'm very picky about form, and having random different diameters looks goofy to me. When using the mega cartos the old batteries created one seamless nice unit, the new batteries don't match up as well with devices meant for eGo batteries, IMO.
