I am not fond of mixing flavors. None of the ones I have tried stated tasted anything like I thought they would. I have over 10- 10 mg. bottles of different flavors I mixed. I would start very low and add a little at a time. The sweetness makes me sort of nauseated. I never got those flavors smoking cigarettes so I certainly don't want to get them vaping. I want the vaping experience to be very similar to cigarettes. I have ordered premixed eliquid and it still didn't taste like I though it should. I have some apple and doesn't even have a taste.

I give up on any flavors except camel, RY4, 555, Hilton, marlboro and state express or all of the tobacco flavors. To me camel is the closet I have come across that is more like cigarettes.

If I am using vaping as an alternative to smoking why would I want to replace the flavor or taste.

Maybe not you, but others may want to replace the taste, too. I personally find those flavors you mentioned - RY*, Hilton, etc. - to be quite disgusting now that I don't smoke analogs.

Everyone is different.

My 2 cents so take it for what it's worth.....

Many years ago I decided to make hard candy using LorAnn oils.... cinnamon was one of my choices.... well, after I melted all the sugar and corn syrup to the correct temp I poured in my cinnamon oil... 1 dram worth.... we had to evacuate the house.... the "vape" for lack of a better description burned our noses, eyes throats and made it difficult to breath.. our skin that was exposed... (faces and arms) burned.. not bad on the skin but still.... I have since made cinnamon candy 1 other time with the windows open for ventalation... hubby was on the roof and smelled it very well....

Just a word of caution, maybe some of you have vaped it fine... I however am terrfied of doing so and would proceed with caution if you must.....

I am afraid of the stuff as well! I used to make and sell cinnamon toothpicks in Junior High (20 years ago). I would let the toothpicks sit in diluted LorAnn's cinnamon oil for a couple of days and then chew on them and sell them. I became addicted to them and after a week, developed blisters on my tongue and lips! It was not a very pleasant experience and I will never mess around with LorAnn's cinnamon oil again.

Ok, now the WAY you phrased that one portion just hit me wrong. I read it as "chew on them THEN sell them!" Chuckle.

Anyway, I too used to sell cinnamon toothpicks and paper, but have been leery as to using the cinnamon or other mints for vaping as yet. Excepting that I did just order some menthol crystals to try out.

I'd have to also add Sassafras to the insanely strong column. It is a bit like a mix between Root Beer and Wintergreen. In fact I've devoted an atty to Sassafras, Wintergreen, and anything I use menthol crystals in.
I'm responding to an old post, I know. But, yeah on the sassafras. I made a mix a few days ago with three flavorings. Sassafras was 5.8% of the total mix. That turned out to be WAY too much! It totally overpowers the other two flavors. The end result isn't "pour it out" bad, but it's close to that. Live and learn.

88th, if I could make a suggestion. Since you can't update your first post after a couple of day's, what about creating a text file or similar and putting the information in that and putting it on a web page somewhere where we could download it. Start a new thread telling us where it is and as new information comes in you could update it. Let us know in the forums when the list is updated and put the date on the text file so we know how old or new our current copy is. Not the easiest solution, but it would work as long as the list was kept updated once in a while.

You could also make a note on how many people have ferified a flavor. What one person calls strong, another would think is weak. By listing how many it'd give us an idea on how relevant a rating should be.

Just a thought.

I would be willing to create, post and host a page with this information. I also have time to edit and update through PMs, and it would be best to PM ne as well if this is of interest. I'm on ECF daily (no surprise there ....)

I integrated this chart into my guide, along with other reviews since he stopped updating it. You're still free to make it in another format if you think it will help people, though.

Umm, the DIY flavor guide link in your sig no worky. :(

Edit - Heh, I checked the link and it's exactly as typed here: http://......../DIYecf No wonder it no worky

2nd edit - Found your DIY Flavor Guide with the forums google search box. Very nice job on it, it's a great resource. I just can't believe I didn't see it before now.

FYI, I asked the pharmacist if they had dropper bottles, they do carry dropper bottles(glass) in the pharmacy but you have to ask for them (I paid 1.69 for 1 oz size) she was a little hesitant till I told her they were for mixing essential oils (technically that's what they are for just have nicotine added in lol!) cause I looked at craft store etc and couldn't find any!
