Todd has one up now. 120 pounds in the UK
So roughly 150 USD or 200 CAD.
The 175 CAD I got it for after my discount is looking pretty good!

I'm surprised we don't see any US sites with presales, they're shipping soon. That seems like the more reasonable price.
The shop I ordered from is expecting them 15th-20thWe are still looking at mid December ship dates still,..correct ? I checked elementvape can't find it listed there ?
Thanks for grabbing that, you are more talented than I. My video quality was poor too, watched and rewatched it, but wasn't 100% sure until you posted this. My bandwidth must be slow today.@score69 - Good eye – below is a screen grab.
@diagrammatiks displayed a message from Lost Vape stating the material is a Polycarbonate, not Ultem.

This makes this a definite no for me then. Unless they have a version with a more solid battery door. That crack will continue to spread as the door is remove/installed and pressure is put on it.
Wonder if the 'full black' version's cover is also polycarbonte. Guessing it is.
I know he said the doors from the original Drone would fit, but I don't own one and aren't going to try to source a door from it, or have to buy a replacement. Once that door cracks/breaks, the mod would be useless to me. I'm on my second Simple EX for this same reason.
I understand them wanting to reduce the weight, but it shouldn't be at the expense of quality.
Yeah, this is a no go for me unless they come out with a more solid door option.the door is not good. I'm hoping they change something about it on the final retail versions. otherwise they are gonna be shipping a lot of replacement doors.
I guess they didn’t go with real ultem for cost reasons. But this ain’t gonna work in the long run.

I know Lost Vape isn't a high end mod, but if I'm spending around $150 for it, something as basic as the door ought to be a solid part. I'm not going to hassle with anything else that has a flimsy plastic part like this after my experience with the Simple Ex. I got a pair of them for around $45 each, but the first one broke within two months. Unacceptable. I like the mod as a small squonk, but won't be buying a replacement when the backup breaks. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
Maybe Lost Vape should include replacement doors with the mod in addition to the replacement bottle?
I hope they come out with a better door option, but my guess is we are seeing the retail version in Todd's review. Can't believe he didn't mention the crack.
This is a NO for me unless the door options are improved.
To be fair to Todd, that could be a dog hair. If that door were to crack it would more likely be a vertical stress crack.Yeah, this is a no go for me unless they come out with a more solid door option.

In that picture there's no question.
This looks very similar to where the crack started on my Simple Ex. Right where the magnets are glued in. Willing to bet the door is recessed there for the magnet to fit in. The plastic is therefore thinner than the rest of it, pulling on the magnet to pop the door on/off stresses the thinner plastic in this area and forms a crack. In that picture there's no question.
