Looks like we may have dodged a bullet. Barry came up west of us. We'll probably still get rain tonight and tomorrow but hopefully not enough to flood. Thanks for everyone's good wishes!

Mr. Barry Hurricane is, so far, a non-starter. Minimum rain and wind. I was in one downpour yesterday afternoon that lasted about 7 minutes. We have typical hurricane skies. Blue sky patches, banks of alto cumulas clouds, grey tattered clouds and anvil shaped clouds very high up which are the remnants of rain and wind already dispelled. Mississippi is a whole 'nother story!

We had a few sprinkles today and one heavy downpour this evening but that's the most we got from Barry. Hope anyone else in his path fares as well.

I'm nowhere close to the path. We've been having thunder and lightning, but with very light clouds and a fair amount of clear sky. No connection.
