Got a question for those who are far more computer literate than I... Are flash drives a 'crap shoot'? Or am I just too dumb? Tried 2 different brands....new drives....to create a recovery backup...neither of them worked....

I bought 3 USB drives.... creating a new recovery drive from the PC yesterday went just fine. The other 2 I've tried on a laptop...starts out and then says 'can't be created'... I'll try again....

Yay! window popped up saying drive needed to be formatted... Recovery now being copied to drive... Thank you Willie for showing me a video that made it easier to access and start it going...

@Bea-FL Yes, please keep posting pics! It is a welcome break and reminder to enjoy the good, simple, beautiful things. Not to mention being impressed with your collection and green thumb!

Symbolic of a typical Monday at work - some kid probably had fun with TP or paper towels in the restroom over the weekend - flush a toilet and the drains backed up. Our maintenance staff couldn't clear it (snaking it was not enough) and we had to call Roto Rooter. It was as bad as you imagine.
