Janet...it was a bit of a weird Dr. visit...the Dr. popped in and then out..literally....said something about a cortozone shot and then a few weeks physical therapy....and then he was gone! The man that was there ( don't know if he was a practicing Dr. or not).. said he'd order a CAT scan first and that I DID need the surgery I explained to him that some months ago i had physical therapy for a few weeks because of my shoulder and It got worse and the time I felt something pop in my shoulder that hurt like the devil I told the "therapist" to get the hell out NOW.

He also said that I'd have REVERSE ROTOR-CUFF surgery....does that mean that then I could scratch my back from my neck on down?...but how could I eat?! oh , never mind.. I'd still have a right hand...

I remember in Fl. that when I stubbed my toe and almost went down that he was there quick as a rabbit and caught me before it was a bad fall.

Good luck at the docs today. I hope he's got some answers for you that will make the pain go away. Have you tried a TENS to get some relief? I hope we'll get a picture of your new hair do!!

I think I used one of them some time ago for my back...I just use an ice pack now when it hurts too much...but..i don't think I'll put up a pic after the perm.. it's gonna be an extremely curly old broad "do"

Good afternoon everyone! Spent all day at DH's dr appointment. It was worth it! The mass that showed on his chest Cat Scan from December is gone. The new chest Cat Scan done Tuesday is clear! They did nothing for it but I'll take my blessings where they come.

I hope everyone had a good day so far and it just gets better!

My youngest gd's very best friend was in a car accident this morning on the interstate. TT truck towing half a house passed a car. The house sideswiped the car and it spun out in front of the friends' car and she hit him head-on. So lucky she only got minor injuries. The car that got hit twice looks like a mangled pile of metal but the guy is alive and in the hospital.

that man should have introduced himself and explained what he is. But since he didn't you could call the office back and ask who it was and what are his credentials. It's your body, your health. You have the right to know, to ask questions.

Reverse surgery?? What, they sew you up first? Never heard of it.

Why would anybody even want to do that?

Good grief! Anybody towing 1/2 a house shouldn't even be thinking about passing anybody! Thank God nobody was killed!
