Darn, Janet, hope they're content with just the suet!

Well, the little bastages have gnawed on our deck railing and I see them trying to nibble on the metal holders for the bird feeders. Not sure what that nibbling is all about, but they also lick my terra cotta flower pots when they're not digging in the dirt. Probably trying to get at the minerals? So far we haven't had any in the attic.

Oh, and they ate most of my 15 year old jade tree!! I always put it out on the deck and they've never bothered it before, but I caught them red handed!!

Lazy day for me....so many things I should be doing but feel like my 'get up and go' has 'got up and gone'...

Janet...it was a bit of a weird Dr. visit...the Dr. popped in and then out..literally....said something about a cortozone shot and then a few weeks physical therapy....and then he was gone! The man that was there ( don't know if he was a practicing Dr. or not).. said he'd order a CAT scan first and that I DID need the surgery I explained to him that some months ago i had physical therapy for a few weeks because of my shoulder and It got worse and the time I felt something pop in my shoulder that hurt like the devil I told the "therapist" to get the hell out NOW.

He also said that I'd have REVERSE ROTOR-CUFF surgery....does that mean that then I could scratch my back from my neck on down?...but how could I eat?! oh , never mind.. I'd still have a right hand...

Maybe it's time for a 2nd or even a 3rd opinion........I had 3 before I chose my surgeon.

He's such a GOOD hubby!

I remember in Fl. that when I stubbed my toe and almost went down that he was there quick as a rabbit and caught me before it was a bad fall.

You most certainly can!....one stipulation......you come here to stay while you recuperate. You'll be waited on hand and foot! We'll even find you a good ortho guy here to consult with your surgeon. C'mon down!!!

Good afternoon everyone! Spent all day at DH's dr appointment. It was worth it! The mass that showed on his chest Cat Scan from December is gone. The new chest Cat Scan done Tuesday is clear! They did nothing for it but I'll take my blessings where they come.

I hope everyone had a good day so far and it just gets better!

That is so exasperating, Janet........gosh, don't have the foggiest idea why they would nibble on the jade!!
Sure hope you find your answers.......maybe Google or a search on one of many garden forums.....

A friend was going to throw out this very rusted shelf unit. I thought it would be very pretty if it was restored so he let me have it. After some extensive sanding and a couple coats of speay paint…voila!

They are the reason we had to build a cage for our veggie plants and…if you can believe it…my tropical hibiscus and my cereous plants. They love hibiscus flowers! They also love sunflowers…the flowers themselves. I had to quit growing them.
