As I am, I'm sure, still considered and Old School Vaper .. and with the Alert Thread Final Countdown that I have been trying to follow, things get a bit confusing .. I still use Spinners/Twists and I guess they are part of what's going away .. ?? (at least for USA sellers .. ??) .. and I prefer EVODS as a tank .. I have a good supply of coils and a big bottle of old coils that reached my inability to re-wick .. although, I understand that the EVOD coils can be rebuilt ..
I have one Mech mod I got some time ago as well as a couple, I think they are called I-Leaf or some such box mods .. never used any of them ..
Keeping up with that Thread is tiring .. somebody posted these as a deal ::

Although I don't think I'll have an issue getting new Twists/Spinners after the regs go into effect as well as coils, I know it's better safe than sorry .. I have more than enough nic solution ..
I never treated Vaping as a hobby and, obviously, I did not get into the gear end of things .. just wanted to quit the smokes and stuck with what worked for me ..
I really, really would appreciate anyone that can help me spend my money on a worthwhile Doomsday stash / gear wise .. I suppose if I had to recoil and what not, I would .. (really don't want to, but it is what it is) ..
I'm not freaking out after reading the "Final Alert" Thread, because I honestly don't think goods can be stopped from coming into the USA .. but, better safe than sorry ..

Uncle, we are similar in some things. I still have twists and evods and don't like rebuilding. Something you might consider is the ego one (eggroll) tank. There is a thread about them. I really like them and if you get the clr coils, you can rewick/rebuild. I am using the same ones for months with just rewicking which is easy. I haven't tried to rebuild them but I figure at the price they are, I can toss them if I get to the point of not being able to rewick alone. Make sure the coils are the clr, the cl ones are just use and toss.
JC posted the link to ejuices.com that has a sale now which makes the Zenith Zlide tank less than 10 bucks and I got free shipping. Zlide uses same coils as the Zenith so can't be rebuilt but they last a long time. I get at least 2 weeks out of one.
I am afraid, I don't share your optimism for the FDA. They and BT have been trying to shut down vaping since the beginning and I don't believe they will quit until they do. We will probably still be able to get some stuff but at higher prices and/or risk of confiscation at import.
They cannot touch me since I have enough stuff for 4 people's lifetimes and I like it that way.

I've always said that if all the Vape Gear and Liquid was somehow sucked off the Planet by an Alien Craft, I'd be the first in line at the Quick Trip for a pack of Marlboros .. .. now, I seem to be faced with that as a somewhat possibility ..

Good price on the Sigelie, and it's a serviceable tube. (I have two although I don't use any of my tubes much these days.)
The CLR heads linked are NOT sub-ohm, as long as you get the 1.0 ohm ones. The rebuild in the same way as your evod heads, but a tad bigger and easier to do. So if you've rebuilt the evods, not much of a learning curve.

That is the ego one and coils and cheap. As David said, make sure to get the 1.0 ohm coils and you will be mtl. After you register, I think you get a discount. I will look for other discounts in the meantime.
The zmax is good if you like tube mods and is flexible for different batts/sizes. If you think you would like small box mods, I love the Pico here, different colors are different prices:

You can still find the coils for the nautilus, and FT has the eleaf istick basic, GS air 2, and coils at a very cheap price. You're not the only one . . . Just so overwhelmed with the discussion - don't know exactly what I am going to do given my living situation here (leave that for a later discussion) . . . Even with that said - it is definitely time to go through the hidden "STASH", especially to remove what is not in use and will not ever be used either - compared what NEEDS to stay stored away . . .

Don't know if I have much information to offer "You" concerning your quest for "Doomsday" Supplies . . . Although, I have a variety of MODS (VV/VW/etc, including higher end MODS) & Tanks (Caromizers/Priority Coils/RDA-RTA/sub-ohm {that I am getting rid of} ) , since I stop being a dual user a few months ago - The Innokin Endura T18 & T22 w/Prism Tanks - are what I use all day (BTW: there are also version II and there is also a new Endura T20S Kit too ) . . . they have internal batteries that are preset at 14 Watts . . . AND - The coils - 1.5 ohm - are interchangeable. BTW: I usually vape approximately 5 ml of 50/50 24 nic e-liquid a day and have only had to change out the coil after approximately 3 months use. Matter fact, was still able to use them after a wash or 2 to clean them before changing e-liquid. I have found only one downfall, DO NOT DROP the tank, no replacement for the tanks glass window - I also now keep rubber band wrap around the tank as a "bumper" . . . Just Sayin' . . .
OH YEA - Almost forgot, on occasion I have been using the Prism Tanks (got a couple extras w/coils) and a Zenith Tank a few time on a Cool Fire IV - so much better then an iSub tank that came with it . . . Hope the information is helpful to Ya' . . .

I hate wide bore DT's. Many can be replaced with a 510, some tanks include an adapter and some don't. You can buy adapters cheap so the 510 DT's fit. Usually though, the wide bore dt's go with a sub ohm tank which I don't use but I do have adapters for the mtl tanks like royal hunters can be depending on the build.
For non rebuildables, I don't buy any tanks that are for sub ohm. I have a few and I hate them.
I think what you have is some eLeaf box mods? You should try them, I love mine. I'm kinda old-school too. You can stlll buy Spinners from ebay. Outside of a couple Spinners in use all my others are box mods. The tubes have been stashed.
