Does the Zmax take a button-top or flat-top battery? Just asking because button-tops are harder to find nowadays.

I think they we're intended to use with either ... but flat tops were highly recommended to avoid putting extra pressure on the boards positive contact. I only used flat tops in mine.

'Morning everyone...

Never heard of these until now so I googled them. Look at this price!

SMOK Zmax Mini Mod 3-15W

You don't want that version of the Zmax at any price, unless...you have an ample supply of the 'extinct' vivi nova tanks which were all the rage 7 years ago, or an adapter...not even sure if the adapters are still available. All of the tanks being made now require a mod to have a flat top....;)

Zmax also offered a separate longer end cap for the mod, allowing you to use button-tops... I have one of those too, but never used as I had no button top-batteries.

Good morning everybody! Lots of rain yesterday, but today it's just soupy out there. Looks like the heat is coming back so I'll be out weeding in short spurts and spending most of the time inside.

My daughter took me to the Lego store yesterday. I was able to pick up some extra Lego pieces and splurged and got the kit for the Apollo 11 Lunar Lander. I will start on it after I finish with the dust removal on the other finished kits.

Very cool! You'll have to post a picture when you get this one done!

Um can someone get the big grumpy looking spider off my chair in the storage shed so I can drag it back in here please?

Hey there! How are you doing? Yep, Gracie walloped him and I cleaned up the mess so you can have a seat without worry.

That explains the price. I suppose it would be a good buy for anyone who stocked up on the tanks.

Just to recap what I'm thinking :: (some previously Posted, but I like to have a plan, you know .. ??)

I guess if I'm looking for the possibility of the Longest Lasting Gear, a replaceable battery would make sense .. yet, Sandra mentioned chips can go out, so is a permanent battery any better or worse that a replaceable battery .. ??

I'm also thinking that when I decide what to get, I'll try it and if I really like it, just load up on that stuff .. no need to continue to try this and that, just sink the moola into one setup

Try and stick with coils that can easily be re-built .. (I can teach myself, although I really don't want to) ..

I have 10,000 ML of 100 MG nic in the Deep Freeze .. I vape at 6-10 MG and a 100 ML of my solution lasts about 2 months .. so, I should be fine on nic ..

Anybody got a linky to those Zenith's Mike mentioned .. ??

Lastly, now that I've thought about it, sticking with current generation stuff or no older than last generation seems to make sense, as they would have had the most of what current tech has to offer and would seem to benefit from years of tweeking and improvement .. (this coming from a Guy that uses a Spinner/Twist) .. or would older, proven Road Warriors be a more logical choice .. ??

Here’s one place that has all 3 sizes ... 2ml or 3ml or 4 ml capacity. The 4ml is 24mm in diameter so you may want to be sure your mod will take that diameter without a “hangover” if “looks” matter to you.

Sounds like a reasonable plan.

Yes, chips can go out, if they're old enough to date ;) But it's rare. Heck, ANY electronics can fail, but in general if they're going to do so they usually do early in life - that's why some run stress tests on new computers before the warranty expires. (Although that potential is why some - a lot? - of us also have a few mechs in the box.)

Yep, if you really like it, i.e. does what you want and is comfy to use, getting multiples of it makes sense. As does finding something similar at fire sale prices :)

OTOH, a true RTA that performs as you like will be easier to build, as it will be bigger and less fiddly.

Thanks for the link. I don't think I will be having to order any more for a few years.

I have an almost 9 year old grandson who's into Lego's big time.
One of the things I like about Lego's is how they have them in age-appropriate/skill level kits.
When I was his age I was putting together model cars and airplanes. I used fishing line and had the airplanes hanging from my ceiling in dog-fighting positions.
