Good morning
Hola ..
In other news, my continued Campaign against the Vermin that wander around my property, VIA the use of a Catch and Release Trap, bagged a good sized skunk yesterday ..
And then how did you handle it?
Good morning! We're sitting here drinking our coffee and watching the deer meander around the back yard. The males are following the females proudly displaying their antlers. It's funny watching the interaction - or lack of it on the part of some females.
I can't have caffeinated coffee for medical reasons so it's been a job trying to find a bold dark roast that's satisfying. There's tons of high test brands, but decaf Tully's was my favorite until they went out of business. I've bought samples from a few places online, but none fit the bill. There is a kitchenware store in Skippack that has a pretty good French roast, but it's pretty expensive especially since I make a 10 cup pot each morning. Last week at Costco we bought the Kirkland brand of decaf because it said it was bold. Color me skeptical, but Woohoo! It is! And it's WAY cheaper too! Now watch this, it's a fluke and they won't have it next time...
I don't blame you. Good chance of getting sprayed if you'd tried to move it.Not to disrupt the delicate balance of Animal Lovers, and, although there are alternative disposal methods I have used in the past, I'm just so tired of dealing with this Urban Vermin problem .. so .. apologies to Animal Lovers everywhere, including those that like skunks, but, 22LR at 12' using Winchester Subsonic 42 Low Noise / Savage: Mark II FV-SR

Do you like venison?Possums, Coons, Ground Hogs .. I'll take the time and gas money to drive them out to the sticks and let them attempt to live on their own .. Skunks, of which I have disposed of a few, pose a much bigger hassle .. I tried to comply for a long time with the Ordinance prohibiting fire arm discharge within the City Limits, until I discovered the Winchester Subsonic 42's .. they are very quiet (for a round) .. and, having a stockade fence also helps contain the pop ..
I'll add .. although Bambi can be cute and all that Jazz, they have also fast become a real issue in my area .. Several municipalities in the St. Louis Area now allow regulated bow-hunting of deer due to the sheer over-run that's happened .. it's not unusual to be driving down I-270 at certain times and running the risk of hitting one while you're doing 75 MPH ..
