Yeah that was an old Argus 35mm camera.
I had one of those, an Argus C3. Even had some exchangeable lenses for it. Also had some zoomable veiwfinder doodad for it so that you only had to half guess what you were taking a picture of. I think I ws around 13 at the time.

Took my first long stroll with hubby at European Village this morning after Church. Didn't do too badly but was glad to be home to cater to my sore tootsie!

Definitely too warm here. It's 6:00 here and has cooled down to 86, but the humidity hasn't been as bad as it's been. When we were in D.C. on Sunday it was hot and way humid. Mike and I were putting up a temporary fence to keep the dogs in the back yard and it was nasty outside. Plus the bugs were awful and they don't usually bother me much.

Yep Willie I see you guys are both 70. Man he sure looks different then back in the good old days but who doesn't. I bet you had more to talk about then medical issues. Really must've been a kick for both of you.
We're having Indian Summer 71 today keeps climbing till Thursday 80 then. Guess the old AC will get a little more. Hey I forget who told me that the Subaru Outback was great but they were definitely right. Drove it yesterday and if you didn't look at the speedo you'd think it was brand new. Feel really good about this purchase got a $35K car for $20K Even have the same warranty and free oil changes for as long as I'm still above ground.

Mr Messina is a regular guy .. the thing about him is, he has the pedigree and the chops of Stephen Stills, David Crosby, Don Henley and a whole host of others from that mid to late 1960's era .. not to mention Loggins and Messina .. but, he keeps it low key, he's still doing small gigs because he likes it, he is a consummate professional and a top notch engineer and producer .. he also likes the fact that he does not get recognized in most public places .. nor does he want to be ..
Generally, the old guys like to keep it normal, as in regular life .. there is not much in the way of looking back to the Glory Days and other this and that .. talking revolves around the same stuff you and I would discuss if we were face to face .. and, that's the way it should be .. we're all cut from the same cloth ..
.. the Romantic Notion of Celebrity is not part of the lexicon .. nor should it be .. .. we're all old, we know it, we all deal with issues .. the Glory Days were a long time ago, in a Galaxy Far, Far Away ..
Yep we got down to 35 here 32 10 miles away, in the 30's at night for about a week. We haven't had frost but daytime highs have been in the low 60's for a couple or 3 weeks now, so it is quite a change. It went from higher 80s to that in about 3 days and stayed there. Crazy weather. We have been 10 to 15 degrees above normal all summer then went to 10 to 15 degrees below normal.
Still hot in the northeast. Weather says 2 days in the 80's. Much more of this and I'll be a puddle on the ground.

We're allegedly ending the Heat Wave today, with temps back into the 70's, low 80's tomorrow .. and yes, it's a Wet Heat ..
Puerto Rico is shaping up to be as much of a disaster as Katrina was, help wise .. these United States Citizens require and deserve the same treatment as any other United States soil .. it's a sad story ..
If help is denied because of Puerto Rican debt, will those same people be appalled at the number of Puerto Ricans moving to the USA?
