Not to jump into your conversation. Just wanted to say, I have a bed that I will soon need a stool to get into, as it sits so high. It's an adjustable, and the base seems like it's 10' tall! Did you like your sleep number?

No problem, jump on in! Yes, I did like it enough to keep it for 30 years! Got it from QVC. We only had trouble with the motor once many years ago, but that was due to an elec. surge due to a lightening strike. It still held the air, but we couldn't adjust it. We stopped in the store, they looked us up in their computer and replaced the motor right away. The cost was prorated due to its age, but that was fair. Never had a mattress last that long without it getting misshapen.

Well, look at that. If I'd gone to the next page I would have seen that it did post after all - but the little thingy was still thinking so I thought it didn't. Must be loosing my mind.

That may well be my next bed. Thanks a lot.
I see you are from Pa. Which part? As you can see, I'm from Pittsburgh. Well, about 20 miles north. Born and raised here. A real nomad, I am....

Allentown is among my favorites...thanks for posting.
By the way, I think I would make a good Lounge Lizard, as in days gone by, I LOVED to go dancing all night long. Now, I'm in bed an hour before I used to get ready to go out! :w00t:

Don't know why I'm having trouble with ECF today, but I tried to send this 4 hours ago and had to leave for the wedding. Just came home and do another refresh to get it to post. Could be on my end though, I need to do some updates. Now I have a double post. And the little thingy is still thinking...

The base on mine is adjusted at 12". Then the mattress is 13.5", so it makes it very high. One of the couples I sit for has a bed with drawers in the bottom, & an adjustable base above that. I almost need a stool to get up there. And I'm pretty tall.

Sitting with the little tappy-toe pups this weekend. Their owner was here when I got here & got to see our settling in routine. I sit down, cover my lap with the blanket, raise the footrest & they come take their spots. Same thing everytime. I had to stop bringing Whataburger for dinner because they wanted all my fries & they got too fat. So "we" are on a diet. [emoji852]

We're 35 miles west of Philadelphia. Mike and I grew up 4 blocks from each other, but went to different school districts so we didn't know each other. When we finally met we got married and moved away - a whole hour away. We're still an hour away. Our daughter-in-law is from Hollidaysburg so at least our son gets out to your end of PA once in awhile.

Must be a good day for a wedding.
It was the perfect day for a wedding. Between 70 and 80, blue skies, no wind. Gorgeous.

It was great to have all 3 of my children together again. And all but one of my grandchildren. Melinda throws a good wedding.

I love watching my daughters dance together. Just like when they were teenagers. They even managed to get their brother on the dance floor a little bit.

    A very good day.

Why, thank you and much appreciated. Glad to be here. Always thought I was a misfit, too :w00t: And a free thinker....could be a dangerous combo, or could be LOTS of fun!

It's not just "You" . . . ECF is experiencing some kine of "Hick-up" . . . ND - Supposedly they know all about it and are trying to fix it . . .
