It's a crisp 32 degrees right now. Warmed up some since earlier this morning. High of 52 today.

Geez, I wonder if I can talk Janet into cutting her visit w/ her sister short and coming home earlier. The sugar bowl is almost empty and it hasn't auto-refilled yet. It must be broke or something because I never have to refill it.

'Morning everyone...:)

Woke up to 31 here, supposed to reach a high of 51. Already had to bleed one radiator, and glad I bought my own key for that last winter. I'm keeping a constant check on the thermostat and hoping the battery doesn't die on a weekend when management doesn't like to send anyone out to replace it... Last year the donkey who came out asked me if I had a replacement battery...o_O Since they keep a lock box on the thermostat, why on earth should I even be expected to know what size of a battery was needed...

Good battery should be good for years I'd think. Just a backup for the Settings. You know that trick about putting a freezer pack on the locked thermostat?

They - Ya' know those weather people - say that November maybe as hot as this past September/October - when we hit/broke some of the highest temp's in history for the Fall months . . . AND - Lets' not for get all the higher "King Tides" too . . . Can EVERYONE say "Climate Change" . . .

Yep! :) Freezer already loaded with containers for rotation...;) I don't know if they've used a good battery or not. I'm guessing not. I've had to call them twice for a dead battery since they installed a new thermostat. They 'cheap' out on everything possible, while at the same time raising the rent. Another Borough inspection coming up sometime this month, and I can't wait to see what the Inspector says about the holes in my ceiling, caused by water coming through from the above apartment, that I've been waiting on to be fixed for the past two years...

Don't remember where in PA you live, however the are many local, county, state and Federal Landlord-Tenant laws that protect you as a Tenant. . . . Also many different City/County/State agencies too, especially when a Tenant is having problems with a Landlord to get things fixed . . . More specifically, as these governments demands - a Tenants has the right to safe, clean, and affordable housing . . . There is normally a "Warranty of Habitability" also . . . SO - Ya' just might want to check these out to start - there are a lot more resources available to "You" as a Tenant in PA, especially if you are a "senior":

There is even this link for Landlords:

13 Tenant Rights in PA All Landlords Should Know | AHPM

BTW: If you live in Philadelphia/Philadelphia or Bucks county - contact 'Me" - maybe I can point Ya' in the right direction . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
