Good morning, kat.dang phone is too sm4
It was crappy for the kids here too

The weather 'here' broke just long enough for the tricksters to gather their goodies. The rain stopped by supper time and then held off 'till around 10pm when it came back w/ a vengeance.

We got this picture and the following message from our daughter yesterday.

"This is not a Halloween costume. This poor fox in our neighborhood had his head stuck in a plastic gutter tube. We cornered him in someone’s backyard until Brian was able to pull it off his head! Be free fox!!! Happy Halloween!"

'Morning everyone...

I doubt there was any gathering of "treats" here yesterday evening... Rained all day with a heavy wind advisory, and by evening the rain was pounding as it hit my back door... tornado warnings... and then my cell phone started screaming flash flood alerts. The power company sent out emails warning of possible outages, which thankfully didn't happen...

Today it's just settled down to being cold and nothing more...

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
Hola .. :)

Last night, on the 6 o'clock News, the Weather Prognosticator showed that the high temp for October was 94o .. we hit what is known as a deep freeze last night at around 26o .. today, it may push mid 40's ..

Daytime yesterday it was gloomy with a steady wind and a high of 34o .. so, a 60o difference from the high temp of October ..

But, it is sunny today and the wind is near nothing, so there is that .. :)

Halloween Hobgoblins were pretty slim .. I ended up just grabbing handfuls of candy and tossing it in their containers just to get rid of it .. (kept the mini-Almond Joys .. :D)

Made a nice Chicken and Dumplings pot full for dinner, enough to tide me over for at least a couple days .. so, thanks to Jerry for that inspiration .. I was pressed for time, so I used the pressure cooker to get the chicken done up quick .. went pretty well with a nice glass of Aldi Zinfandel .. :)

It was down to 17* the night before last, just in time for our furnace to quit. Hubby got out his little heater from his camper/van for the bedroom. The guys were out yesterday, looking at a new furnace  They did bring us a loaner radiator for the front room. Might get the new one on Monday.....
Long handle undies, watch caps  And to think that I complained about the heat last month

Thanks for the update, Gracie. I'm all for natural if it works. Fingers crossed that it does. Just don't want you to be afraid of the phenobarb. I'm sure this is very emotional for you and hubs, and seeing seizures is NOT easy, even if your baby doesn't feel it. Wrapping love around the 3 of you :wub::wub:

Good evening, Friends....too much rain for the kiddies tonight. Think it was postponed until Saturday.
Wishing you all a better tomorrow. :)
Thanks, Kat! Not a fan of phenobarb, but if necessary, will give it to her.

Gracie, I like that your vet wants to try natural remedies first. That would always be my first choice. If they don't help, however, as Kat says, pheno is not to be afraid of if needed.
I'm so hoping that Ease Sure S works as a natural remedy.......because I do know from personal experience what phenobarb can do to the liver. I took it for many years, and fortunately, for me, I was able to withstand it....had a neurologist who wanted me off it, and thankfully, he did just that.

Praying, Gracie!

Much appreciated, Janet!!

It's pretty early for it to be that low! It's from that cold front from up north. We did get up to 64* for a short time today.

It isn't quite atypical, but I'm pretty sure misswish is quite a bit lower than our 5,330 ft elevation.

Lol, yes, quite a bit lower!
