Only 26 low tonight here, but for the area, it's pretty nippy. Yesterday's night was 23 with a windchill of 10 and gusting winds.
The day started nice, the ride home on the MC in the evening though, made me glad that driving while swearing is not a crime. I stayed on the road, rubber side down, but now that winter's here, I've re-remembered again (for the 5th time?) That I need to get a windshield and some cold weather gear. LMAO

Good morning Fran and Anise. 22 here at the moment, going up to 37 today. Haven't worn my sandals in a couple days so I guess winter is here.
Poor Hux fell last night and put his teeth into his lower lip. Bled a lot like mouth injuries tend to do. He was quite impressed with the blood on his shirt. He says his lip is broken. Yeah, well, I guess it is, but it'll heal just fine. Not sure I know of a kid who hasn't done that at least once. He's a real trooper though. I think he's going to be a stunt man when he grows up.

Inspection already done and over.. only checked the smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire extinguisher...

Yeah, well .. 'tis true .. when I was young(er), I tolerated the cold quite well for a Southern Boy .. now, not so much .. snow may look pretty, but I can live without it .. I like 4 Seasons, not the 2 we've been getting here in Fly Over Country the last few years .. although I did read that a Freeze Advisory was issued for N Florida and S Georgia ..
What really gets me are these young'uns that prance around with shorts and a t-shirt like it's some kind of badge of honor .. (well, maybe it is ..

Yep, it's Novembruary. I just opened my calendar ...hmmm and Brrrrr... might as well settle in then.
I think most born here in Wisconsin are 1) born a Green Bay Packers fan and 2) born with winter gear.
I'm just happy I wasn't born around the Arctic circle!
ETA: I meant to say "born around the rapidly MELTING Arctic circle".
