PSA for Today ::

Last year, it was on November 23rd .. HULU offered a year lock in at .99 cents a month for the version with Commercials .. I posted it, don't know how many took advantage of it ..

At any rate, the deal is obviously coming to a close soon .. I have not yet decided if I will continue with it .. I'm sure, if they offer another .99 cent deal, there is a way to game it and get another cheap year .. in the meantime, I have been mining HULU the last few weeks for anything I might find worthwhile, should I decide to cancel .. two shows that I am finishing up ::

"Underground" .. Drama series based on the Underground Railroad .. 2 seasons and quite worthwhile .. I'd never heard of it until I discovered it ..

"Outsiders" .. Drama series surrounding Clans living in the backwoods and threats to their way of life .. I won't rate it great, but it is OK .. just 2 seasons ..

"The Looming Tower" was quite good, watched it a few months back ..

As well, if anyone spots a HULU deal leading up to or on the 23rd, post it, please, just in case I miss it .. :)

Well - Once Again THANKS ! ! ! I actually signed up when you post that sale . . . AND - Even though I don't use HULU that often, I have found a couple of series (BBC Shows) and a few movies that I enjoy - so I plan to keep for awhile at the $5.99 fee for now . . . If I see any HULU Deals - I will absolutely let Ya' know . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Disney+ (started streaming this week) is currently offering a 7 day free trial, and a bundle deal with Disney+ / HULU / ESPN at $12.99 a month, which is pretty durn good considering Disney+ has Nat Geo, Pixar, Marvel and Disney .. I don't have any real interest in the material, other than the new Star Wars series Disney is doing .. and, they only drop those at one episode a week .. so, I'll likely wait until an entire Season is up to try it ..

For folks with kids especially, Disney+ has a huge library of content going back to very early stuff .. and, the Star Wars films have all been re-mastered so they look absolutely stunning .. I checked it out at a friends place the day after the service went live ..

Disney Plus price: bundle costs and sign up deals compared to Netflix, Amazon Prime and more | TechRadar

Good afternoon Folks !!! :D

I hope you have a great day!

I never knew 40 degrees could feel soooooo nice, but it does. At least compared to the single digits and teens we had. Now I just need the snow to melt so I can finish raking all the additional leaves that fell. It's a nice sunny day here today so maybe the snow will be gone later or Saturday.

Haven't gotten into any of the streaming services yet. I will at some point. There sure are a lot of them now.

I got a bunch of errands done and my grocery shopping too, cool. Good tip, someone in the shiny thread mentioned they use those thick rubber bands that come on the broccoli for wire spool tamers. Hmmm, I never thought of that. Naturally I had to get some and yes it does work nicely.

Flowersoul that is an awesome photo. Made me dizzy at first too.

Good afternoon, everyone. I have had my morning coffee and a small breakfast so now it is time to do some chores. My goal today is to take care of some leaves. It isn't a "clean" yard chore but more of a "removal" of a fire hazard chore. The outside temp is 61° with a lite breeze. It should be a comfortable time. I'll have my ice water and Kendle for when I take breaks, of course, I'll have my vape with me too. Breaks are always a necessity. I hope everyone has a good day.

Good afternoon Folks !!! :)

I hope you all have an awesome day!

I ran an errand this morning and came across a huge commotion at a very busy intersection (3 lanes each side). In the distance I could see someone walking very slowly across the street. As I got close I realized it was a blind old man with a red/white guide cane. Many were honking and shouting obscenities at him. The guy was obviously confused on which way to go, he reversed direction a couple times, all while people flew by and almost hit him.

I pulled over and ran to help him cross the street. People were now b-i-tching and honking at us both! The old guy couldn't move quickly and understandably so. I managed to help him cross the street and found out he was waiting for a city bus. We were now on the wrong side of the street for the direction he wanted to go. I offered a ride but he insisted on taking the bus. I managed to get him across once again and with perfect timing as the city bus just rolled up. I flagged the bus driver who kindly waited for us.

I was kind of miffed, honestly more than miffed, at all the people who carelessly flew by honking and b-itching. I mean come the :censored: on.

Sometimes I just wonder …o_O...

Sorry for my rant.

Now I'm chillin' with some ECF, college football, cup o Joe and a good strong vape!!! ;)

Good morning Bea and everyone else. I'm playing catch up here this morning. After the past 2 days we need a rest! On Friday we babysat our son's boys while their parents went to dinner and a movie and then yesterday morning we met all the family at the Children's Museum. We had a blast watching the kids running around to all the activities. Then it was back to our daughters house in DE for a pork tenderloin dinner. Unfortunately the kitchen sink clogged up and the men spent a good deal of the time trying to fix that while dinner was made around them. Kate broke out the paper plates and the silverware etc. got washed in the bathroom sink! Meanwhile the boys were racing around squealing with delight. What chaos! Fortunately the women had stopped at a fabulous wine store so we were well fortified to handle the home situation. Today Mike and I are planning on rest and recovery!!

The lady who was trying to buy my KY property was selling two of her horses to get the down payment. Had an accident and both horses were killed. So sad.

Oh no! That's so sad for the horses and also for you. That's a double whammy.
