Good afternoon Folks!!!

Dog and I went down to Lake Michigan this morning for a nice long walk along the lakefront. And of course we had to play frisbee for a while too.

Funny how time deteriorates our exteriors, while inwardly I'm still the same person...

Yeah, well .. it's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" in reverse, no .. ?? Photos stay the same, we gradually deteriorate ..

On a side note, I'm considering a Presidential run .. I mean, since a good portion of the Populace seems to be throwing their hats into the ring ..

Bloomberg started blanketing the airwaves a few days ago around here .. I'm trying to come up with a snappy Trump / Bloomberg Battle phrase ..

I keep having Prize Fight names pass thru my Head ::

Good morning Yiddle, Bea, Gracie and Anise. It's a cloudy, gray morning, but I'm not paying much attention to it.

Our daughter and family are coming for dinner tomorrow so yesterday I made 2 broccoli and 1 brussels sprout casseroles, turkey gravy and suet for the birds. Mike made his sausage dressing and took care of other chores. This morning I made playdough for Hux. Then I'm going to brine the turkey, bake the casseroles and make a grocery store run for a few last minute things. Then it's just a matter of cleaning up around here a bit and we're all ready for dinner tomorrow! Kate is bringing some sides so that helps and the 4 pies I ordered are in the fridge. Just have to make the turkey and potatoes and warm up the casseroles tomorrow. I was determined to be organized this year so I wasn't in an exhausted frenzy the day of.

Had a pretty good gullywasher downpour last night, then the wind came .. by morning, everything outside looked magically dry .. and, as a bonus, got a pretty good final leaf knock down from my trees and blew most of them in Neighbors yards .. Winning ..

Dog and I both smell sweet. Bunches of towels on the bathroom floor. Had my first one-sided mammo yesterday, and it was clean. Rain started last night, now everything is slushy white. I have a new recipe to try, but I don't think I will take a pie to the location for the community feast until tomorrow late morning. It is still snowing, and the predicted wind is starting.

I have been having pain in my left shoulder, and last night I went to sleep flat on my back in hopes that would help. Woke up this morning with the back of my head aching. I have so many things coming up, I think it is anxious tension. May have to make an appointment with doctor to discuss muscle relaxant or tramadol. However, I also have some little bottles of wine, might try that. Anyway, feels like old times to post. And no, I will not vape for the muscle relaxant effects of nic.

Well - IMHO - They are both . . . Equal & Different . . . Personally, when the "News" is good, I use "Winner" more then I would the "Love" Heart (Also, I personally i don't use the word "love" frivolously), especially since if I am not replying to the person directly in a post and want to show support/agreements in their affirmations and/or assertions . . . Otherwise I would send them a personal or "HUG" via a post . . . Matter of fact, I wish there was a few other "Emoticons" to express a feeling about a person's post, especially for Empathy/Sadness/Sympathy - instead of just Optimistic, Dislike - instead of just having Disagree, etc. . . . Also, it can be confusing sometimes to pick just one - when Ya' find a post both Informative, Useful, & Creative . . . So I just pick the one I feel is close enough as "My" reaction to a post . . . Anyway, it what it is . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Good afternoon Everyone

My brothers smartphone has tons of emoticon's. I'm waiting for the "AAA Guide to Emoticon Lingo".
I don't own a smartphone and have zero interest in one. I prefer a big screen.

Funny but true... I never had any X's until one day I asked in the Shiny thread "what's the big deal if someone disagrees with someone else". In real life it happens (get over it). In my post I included a tic-tac-toe puzzle with only one move left, for a red X and the win, about 6 or 7 folks gave me red X's. But it was all in good humor. I've never given one out and won't, just cause. In my way of thinking if I disagree with someone I'll write it out in a post explaining why I disagree. I have seen some at ECF take getting one very personally.

As far as "love" versus "winner" I have no clue. I just go with what I feel in my gut.

I'm just happy we don't have all these ... but if we did, I'd go with Spock's "live long and prosper" most of the time (rightmost 5th row). I have noticed that all of these are very PC.
