That is hauntingly beautiful!

Frogs?! You say frogs....except for the venomous ones we've had to deal with in the recent past......I love frogs.....have all kinds of metal decorative frogs on our lanai that were gifts and I just love em......

Oh, and btw, all venomous critters have been eliminated from our 'space'! :)

I've always loved frogs... As a child I would sneak off, where I was forbidden to go, to the big irrigation ditch that skirted the town to try and catch tadpoles and frogs...

Funny story about frogs... Native Americans, at least Navajo, considered frogs a fertility symbol, and were one of the critters they carved from stone for animal fetishes/totems. Husband bought a heavy silver ring with two carved turquoise frogs set in it at a Pow Wow. One of the teenagers in the drug program turned up pregnant, then one of the counselors, followed by me, and then...the frogs fell out of the ring... Needless to say, he didn't try to have them set back in it...

Same here early this morning. I had the curtains pulled all the way open on that huge front window and was watching snow falling as I finished that painting. Thankfully it switched to rain before it eventually stopped.

You set out frog decoys. Now you're surprised they attract frogs?

Good morning Bea.

Frosty morning here. The birds are all puffed up at the feeders. I'm just glad to see them back since the past 2 months they seemed to have disappeared. Not sure why. As I sit here watching them I'm formulating what I need to do each day this week to get ready for Thanksgiving. I'm cooking this year, but will only have 5 adults and 2 children. That means lots of leftovers which is just fine with me.

Good Morning all. I went to the commissary on Saturday and picked up a ham and all the other trimmings for Thanksgiving dinner. We eat so much chicken that ham is going to be a welcome change. Yesterday, I made a big pot of vegetable beef (I used ground turkey) soup with a pan of cornbread. I use Bear Creek as a starter for my soups. It is a packaged soup mix and can be found in the canned soup aisle. Then I add a few spices and other things to make it my own. I do believe we will have loads of leftovers from the soup. I hope everyone has a great day.

Hola .. :)

Your easel is getting that "used" look in a good way .. it's been great to watch your progression as you continue to improve ..

Great choice of complimentary colors on this one ..

{{{Anise}}} I'm hoping for the best news for you! My sister had part of her bowel removed due to a malignancy and now it's been over 30 years with no further problems. It really is possible that people can be cured and that's what I expect for you too!!

I have a ceramic Toad House in the flowerbed by the pool. None have taken up residence, but I like it. Frogs/toads are pretty cool critters, well, except for the venomous ones. How did you eliminate them? I'd think that would be difficult to do.

One year, when our kids were young, the water on top of our pool cover had a gazillion tadpoles in it. We scooped them up in buckets and made many trips to the little stream out back to release them.
