Good morning, all. Heading back out to my friend's farm plot for more cleanup. Sore from yesterday's work, but it is a good sore, not the OMG I did something wrong sore. I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Bea and Jerry. We had rain yesterday too. For some reason it felt much colder than it was so we got a fire going in the fireplace last night. It's a good thing we did because we realized our heater wasn't working. Our heater is 1-1/2 years old! So Mike set up the kerosene heater and called the heater company. We agreed to wait until 7:30 this morning for a service to come out. This morning Ladd said it's probably the igniter switch and they'd have to order the part on Monday. Fortunately he did get the heater working, but for how long. We're not supposed to hit temps in the 60s until Monday, but we'll still be below freezing at night. It's odd though, with the heater turned off, that the house was 66

Rain here as well, cool as well, and for us the 60's are still a dream. (Although there've already been a couple close calls.

WOW - So glad I could possibly inspire you, even if it is only to try and revive something Ya' thought you would not/never use again - even if it is to put it up for sale . . .
Well - Ya' might be surprised to know although I haven't been here since Ya started the thread . . . I have taken the time to read some older post every now & then to get a better feel for "You" and some others (knew a number of people already) . . . SO Yea - I know a little bit about your previous life before "vaping" . . . Just don't quiz "Me" . . .
AS - For "Lea DeLaria" . . . YES - A really funny woman with a great voice . . . I've seen her comedy act and heard her singing throughout the years . . . Thanks for bring her up and posting those videos - I haven't seen/heard her for a number of years . . .
I've said it before and I will say it again - If not as a "Blood" relative, somewhere / somehow "We" must be related . . . Even via the "Cosmos", especially given how certain things in "Our" individuals lives are so similar . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Someday, I will regale you with a story or two about my best friend for many years Eric F. and our times in NYC and other locales .. he passed a number of years ago and I still think of him often ..

Did you all remember to turn back your clocks? This time change is a little easier for me to get used to, but I still wish they'd just leave the clocks alone!
Update on the heat situation - we still have heat so I guess cleaning the ignition switch worked, but we don't trust it. The guy says this almost never happens so they don't even carry this spare part. Lucky us.

Janet, it's Spring Ahead..... We loose an hour... I also wish they would just leave it at one or the other. Serves no purpose anymore but to screw with people's internal clocks...
Our legislature passed a bill last session to stay on daylight time year round, pending Federal approval.

Same here, but not for the sake of the people's sanity . . . Every reason was based on economics . . . Wish they would have stayed with Standard and not Daylight Saving . . . Either way, whatever the reason - PLEASE STOP THE INSANITY . . .

Maybe that's why nobody else has chimed in here. They turned their clocks back and went back to bed! That'll teach them to listen to me!!
Well - Some of "Us" actually turned the clocks back before they went to bed (or had those timers that changed themselves) . . .
However, still didn't change "My" attitude when I got out of bed - losing sleep like that . . .
