I'll leave it with you now, with some real Pros .. the other day I must have played this a dozen times back to back .. it's just one of my all time favorites .. and, if you listen, the lyrics are just so fitting for the Times we live in .. sing along, please .. there is not much of a better song for Today ..

I love that song so much, and I haven't heard it in years. Thank you for posting this.

I haven't been here in a long time. My coach (Tippy the canine) got me to walk nearly 10000 steps today. I have been busy making masks. Just utilitarian, most of the fabric I have available is in smaller pieces, so the combination of front and lining and casings on the side and continuous loop tie is pretty wild. I am moving towards some attractive combinations, though, really. I sent Debadoo some, thinking of her multi-generation household, and we had a great conversation on the phone last week. Both of my kids are doing fine, and I will be setting up video calls with son next week. I now have a cellphone that links up through Bluetooth with my HA's, and rarely have difficulties on the phone. Got a clock which will link up with doorbell and phone for night-time emergencies-- flashing light and shaking bed should do it.

There are times I have a desire to smoke, but it passes. I shipped all my vape stuff to deserving people here, and through that experience I have learned some de-cluttering skills.

I guess that is about all, but I will have an air conditioner on Tuesday. Rarely needed in this climate, but when it is, it becomes an essential. I guess I am getting soft in my old age. My bread-maker is more important than AC. Just the way I roll.

Welcome back, sorry for the circumstances.

Welcome back, sorry for the circumstances.
We all are experiencing the same circumstances. There are some advantages in my life. Because of hearing loss, I am experienced at reducing loneliness. We all have time to get involved in activities we would otherwise neglect. Gratitude that quarantine is less onerous than, say 1918, because of electronic communication. I have a sewing machine and sewing skills, and can help others without risking myself. Gratitude for stimulus check which will pay for air conditioner and increased electricity bill. Gratitude that my children are in safe situations. Gratitude for my canine baby. Gratitude that I have plenty of food, and no worries about getting more. Gratitude for online Masses many places on the internet, and that our bishop has not restricted access to confession. Gratitude that Tippy and I agree that ten hours a day of smooth jazz is good background music for doing whatever we do. Can we list other gratitudes?

One of my favorite groups when growing up. I had all their albums. Love this song (along with several others)!

I am so loving @Uncle Willie 's videos, I decided to do one myself, with Geordi. A short video for fun - tricks for entertainment! We start by waving hello, then on to some fun stuff, ending with my favorite - his, what I call, scootch and a bow for applause... Hope it brings a smile (he is very dramatic when he plays dead).

Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone has a good day today!

Geordi is so talented! I don't know about @clnire though. She didn't jump through even one hoop or play dead or anything ;)

I'm grateful that my two family members that caught the virus and almost died are starting to recover and should be released from the hospital in about a week. It makes everything else I'm going through seem pretty insignificant.

@Anise , I only did a laugh for your comment that I didn't do any of the tricks! LOL!!! Geordi loves his tricks and I love showing them off. Me? Not so talented... but I did train him to do these tricks (and more), does that count for anything?

As far as your family is concerned, I am optimistic and glad they are doing better. Hoping the improvement continues and they have a full recovery.

@mikee I know this desert will not help your waist any but I think @Janet H will love making it. Lol. Janet this recipe is a combination of two. Every time I make it everyone loves it. The crust is the same I posted for the custard pie. I didn’t like the crust that came with this filling.

    Lemon cheesecake bars

    1 pat-in-pan crust (1½ c + 3 T flour, ½ c oil, 1½ t sugar, 3 T milk)
    4 eggs
    1 ½ cups white sugar
    1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
    ½ cup lemon juice
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
    1 cup white sugar
    2 eggs, beaten

Lightly butter a 9x13-inch baking dish. Press crust into the entire bottom and bake until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes. Remove from oven, and set aside. Whisk together 4 eggs, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, and lemon juice in a bowl. Pour lemon mixture into the prepared dish. Mix the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar in a bowl until well blended. Whisk in 2 eggs, then spread over the lemon mixture. The mixtures will separate during baking. Bake in a 350 degree oven until the filling is set, about 30 minutes.
