Yesterday .. all good .. of course, in reality, the test is good for the minute you take it .. that's not to say you can't get it 5 minutes after the test ..

I'd been out of town a few days, I'd mingled some and tests around here are free, so, I figured, what the heck .. it was not super bad and much less embarrassing than a Prostrate Exam ..

That's cool then, at least to this point.

MLB is talking starting the season around July 4th, with no Fans in the Stands .. I don't know, given the outline, if the players will be on board .. in fact, I don't know if I'll be on board .. "It's a massive hit to left field .. it's going, going, it's gone .." .. as the ball bounces off an empty seat ..

I'm sure the concession folks love the idea as well ..

Good morning folks! Sprayed all the nasty vines & weeds yesterday. Ready for the garden!

I think I'll scan more photos and slides (Kodachome?*), if it gets too hot today. I'm very sore from yesterday... ugh... speaking of slides do you have any "easy" ideas on how to go about that labor of love?

A friend mentioned DIY videos on the You tube thing... IDK though.

Need to get the muscles limbered up... looks like it may be warmer out today.

Well I don't have @Flowersoul 's phone number personally, but I do have a mutual friend (@JCinFLA) that we both share who does and talks with her at least once a week. SO - Here's an update . . .SHE"S ALIVE & KICKING . . . and supposedly still full of spunk . . . "Gracie" & "Hubby" are fine - no personal major health issues for them going on right now. The thing is - "Gracie" decided to take a break from internet & ECF. However, more importantly, She will be back - until then she will just be "Lurking" every so often.

Hope that information is Helpful . . .

When do you get the results?

Yesterday ..

Well that's fast . . . Still waiting for "Results" - told are suppose to call 2-5 days from date of test to let "Me" know . . . AND - If I don't hear back from them I have a number to call . . .

Anyway - Today is lab work to get a new base line for "My" 2 doctors & "Me" and then another one in approximately 5 weeks to see if the new medications are working . . . Such Joy . . .

Talked with Gracie a bit ago, she said to let you know that she's alright, just sad and anxious cuz her little puppy has been ill and it's aging, with all the physical things that start to go bad with animals and humans when they/we reach that stage, so she's spending extra cuddle/loving time with it.But at least she has her awesome husband with her....but she doesn't feel very sociable right now...which is perfectly understandable!

Yeah, well, it about has to be a Labor of Love .. I've gotten through maybe 1500 slides and I lost count on negatives .. I use an Epson Perfection V600, which will take more than one slide at a time as well as negative strips .. although it separates the scans, I'm fairly picky about resolution, so it can be quite time consuming just to digitize ..

Then, don't even get me started on post-production restoration, color correction, blemish removal, etc ..

My day didn't get started off this morning. First off, when I got up my sinuses were plugged so I grabbed some tissue and blew my nose. Instant nose bleed! After about a half-hour I was finally able to get it stopped after loosing what looked like a pint or two of blood. I've not had that happen in a really long time. Then, while checking my email I got an email from "Pike Pass" that the CC on my account was expired. No problem, just go in and update the card. My wallet wasn't where I normally keep it. I checked my carry bag, no! I went out and searched my Jeep, no! Went through the counter in my bedroom. Nope! Finally, after I don't know how long I found it in my recliner where it was fallen out of my pocket. Can I go back to bed now?

I lost my billfold last year. Credit cards were easy to replace. Social Security was a mother bear, closely followed by the library card. Fortunately, someone a hundred miles from here mailed it back, including cards and money. If they hadn't, I might still be fighting to replace Social Security and Medicare cards.

Thank you Uncle Willie sounds like the perfect ticket for me and though I still use my Nikon wireless... for new photos... yours though is much faster on slides and negatives! ...(you had me at the underlined quote section... whew, is Florida humidity rough on that photo stuff!)

I'm actually paying "out of work" family members to scan 1000's of photos at hi/res about (1200 to 2400dpi) at about 500mb each... gawd I just luv having all them empty drives!

(They'd do that Labor of love for nothing, they're in the photos!... nothing here in BFE Florida land except clean fresh air, stretching their legs, but the family needs to feel useful... and besides I'm lonely.)

Oldest niece today hits me with... "What do you call a group of monkeys that order food from Amazon?"...I dunno I sez... she sez, "Prime-ates!"

Good morning. It's a gorgeous day here, going up to 70 and the sun is shining. We'll enjoy it because the next 3 days will have clouds and rain.

Mike is going to be cutting grass and we have to run out to a showroom (if it's open) to check out some front doors. It's impossible to choose one from the catalogs!! So many choices and no prices unless you have a salesman come out. Sheesh. This is not my idea of fun. I'd be a good candidate for someone to come in and re-do the foyer (or any other room) while I putz in the garden.

Hola ..

I got tested Monday .. same deal, nasal swab .. relax, close your eye's, etc (don't sneeze .. ) .. I'm fairly sure it's still the most common test around these parts, anyway ..

I thought tests were only done if you get exposed to an infected person or have the symptoms. Please tell us it was neither in your case…just a careful doctor?

Edit: ok I just read your older post about why you got tested…so forget this one.
