30th here. Just pigged out on crabcakes from seafood outlet. More importantly, getting along better each passing year.

I feel like we're teens compared to the adults in the room
49 yrs? 40 yrs?! Congrats @Bea-FL and @classwife !

our 30th is in Aug, being in NE, it's lobsters on the menu.

The one thing I've learned working mostly from home these past few months, we can survive retirement togetherness. Lots of laughing at ourselves helps.

A friend from Operation Migration makes these wonderful painted rocks. When I saw this one I just loved it and asked Cathy if I could have it. She kindly obliged. She is such a talented lady. She made a whole set with masks and donated them to nurses!

I think this is a Twitter thing of which I am not a member but I think it will let you see her work. #rocks4smilez

I used to be able to do quite a bit more damage...but I'm old now

LOVED the all you can eats they used to have at Red Lobster !!!

Well, even pre-Pandemic, the local Casinos had cut back on the crab .. I probably had something to do with it .. ;) .. many got to the point where you could add crab to your buffet meal for an extra $5-10 bucks a pound and they would bring it to you ..

The last really good Crab Buffet I went to was $65 a head .. but, it was one excellent Buffet ..

Hell, I'd be happy if my favorite Chinese Buffet could open up fully ..

I can personally do some damage to Crab Legs .. especially King Crab ..
Oh my favorite food of all time! When I was a wee thing, 4-5 yrs old maybe? My Dad lived in NYC. My brother and I would fly out 3 times a year. He would take us to a place in Manhatten called The King of the Sea. Dad and my brother would get lobster, I would get king crab legs, so I blame my love of it on him (a good blame). When we lived in So Florida years ago and our son was in Boy Scouts, there was a restaurant that offered all you can eat King crab, downsized to queen crab through the years. There son was also a Boy Scout with our son, so we would go and the owner would pick out the best of the crab legs to serve to us. Those were the days my friend! Neither restaurant exists anymore... Having been to Maine several times, now I can't eat lobster anywhere else. Nothing like lobster off the docs, steamed fresh and tender, in Maine!

Congratulations @Bea-FL and early congratulations to Classy! We had our 35th in February.

Don't know if anyone actually noticed my absence/limited access of ECF for the past couple of weeks - been going through a lot of personal "Stuff" like most everyone else (Birthday/Death/sadness/depressed), including having my access to the internet extremely limited given "My" Laptop's Hard Drive stopped working . . . However for the past 2 weeks and with much GRATITUDE and Overwhelming - THANKS - to an ECF Friend of "Ours" and an absolute "Miracle" worker and "MENCH" . . . "My" Laptop computer is back up and running - since they were able to "FIX" the hard drive . . . AND - Not least of all - saved "Me", especially since I was a "fool" that didn't "Back-up" their files often enough (last time was 3 years ago) . . . Not one of my 16 years of files vanished / were lost to "Me' any longer either . . . :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Now - I do not have to just rely on an outdated, limited and not up-gradable 10 Year old XOOM Tablet to peck and paw my way through ECF. . . . As some people might already know from previous post during huricains, I really dislike and have difficulty "Typing" on a Tablet that is so outdated that it refuses to open a number of website - NOT NICE :-x . . . AND - A using a smart phone for internet access is worse . . . :censored:

Anyway - While I would like to make a few replies and I know I've missed many personal memorial moments, too many to post a proper Birthday, Anniversary, Vapeaversary, etc. Greeting marking "Your" Day . . . So I hope Ya' will just all accept a simple, but just as important and heartfelt:

Good morning everyone :)

It has rained non-stop for 2 days now and will continue for 3-4 more. Not complaining…the water table is low.

We watched an excellent movie yesterday on youtube called “just Mercy”. If you haven’t watched it you might consider it…only $4 to rent it.

@Janet H have checked out the little storks lately? This pic is from this morning! Sorry it's poor quality but I took it with my phone off the TV screen.
