@Diver9543 . . . So was it a limb, branch,or the whole tree ? How's the house & roof ? How are "You"? OH - And did you complete the Rubik "Gear Ball" Yet ?

First off, I'm doing okay.
As far as damage, I'm not sure yet. I'm waiting on a call from the group that replaced my roof. I'm hoping they can recommend someone who can remove the tree. At the moment, I haven't noticed any water damage so that is a plus. However, the damage won't really be known until the tree is removed.
The Rubik Gear Ball was a bit of a challenge but I did finally get it figured out. It was a whole lot easier than the original Rubik Cube.

You might be off scott free, Diver, other than the removal. The way it's laying down, unless a limb stabbed the roof, looks like it might have spread and cushioned the load. And not such a tall tree that the top is really heavy.

Yep, I agree, you lucked out. Could have been much worse if the tree were bigger. I wonder if the tree was diseased? Might want to check out the other 2 trees to make sure. We lost a couple trees recently because they were diseased, but they looked normal until they suddenly died. Can't always tell even if the center is all rotted out.

Happy Tuesday, loungers :)

@Diver9543 , you get any luck with the adjuster yet?

Warm and dry here, heading to (for us) hot, but supposedly not for long. That usually waits until August.

Hmm, all the recent chatter about computers, browsers...

Good morning! :)
Beautiful here this morning and as usual, enjoying the outside with my vape and java. :)

Didn't fertilize the potted plants yesterday so that will be done today!

Stay cool and safe everyone! Oh and dont forget to continue to eat well keeping your immune system strong; a few supplements helps a lot, too :)

A friend is stopping by this afternoon to take a look at it. He will look at the roof and also go through the attic to see if any damage is spotted there. His uncle's company installed the roof a couple of years ago.

Hola .. :)

Jerry, I'll just mention my experience with State Farm .. if the tree had not landed on your roof, they won't pay squat .. since it did land on your roof, they should pay, minus your deductible .. also, since the roofs not all that old, it should not be tough to match the shingles ..

Or, the neighbors insurance might pay, I don't know ..

I had a new roof put on about three years ago and paid for an extra bundle (1/3rd of a square) .. just in the eventuality of maybe needing it in the future some time ..
