Excuse my mood please, but i'm a bit disheartened,,,,I have to go to the Dr.s tomorrow to see if i have pneumonia of the walking variety...I probably don't, I've just been having an awful time for going on a couple of months with terrible breathing issues and coughing my lungs out .
it could be just a horrible sinus infection with the plugged up nose and the disgusting sputum but I'm almost wiped out with no strength or energy and I'm tired of it. I wanna be full of piss n vinegar! I couldn't even pick up a few small pieces of branches today in the yard and I'd have to sit down and breathe as tho I'd just run a block.

I ain't my "normal" self!

Now I'm heading for a long hot shower and my soft warm bed.
Catch you on the flip side....

BTW...this song really could be my theme song, no kidding.

My biggest complaint about the little furry beasts when I had a garden, was that they dug up all my tulip bulbs and ate them. They don't touch daffodils because they're toxic, but tulips appear to be a gourmet treat.. . Of course there was the time that I came outside to see that one of them had got into my shed and filched a 30 yard spool of bright yellow satin ribbon.... It streamed across a shrub and high up into a tree was the biggest pretty yellow squirrels nest I'd ever seen...:D

Yeah, between the tree rats and the wild coneys, my SO will no longer plant tulips. No sense giving the rodents gourmet food!

Now I'm heading for a long hot shower and my soft warm bed.
Catch you on the flip side....

Hope it's something simple and you're quickly restored to the curmudgeon we all know and love! :nun:

Speaking of the tens unit, hubs has 2 of them. Do they make one that runs for more than 30 minutes at a time?

Fran :: My old school manually adjustable units will run continuously .. there is a switch to set it for that under a panel .. they do eat up a 9 volt battery fairly quickly ..

I ordered one similar to this one a while back and bagged it for around 20 clams on Amazon ::

    https://www.amazon.com/Stimulator-L...1295&sr=8-127&keywords=Rechargeable+Tens+Unit

The fact that it is rechargeable is a big plus .. although 60 minutes is the limit on the timer .. it has various pre-programmed modes for various body areas .. it holds a good charge for a long time .. it takes a slight learning curve, but it does come with an extensive instruction sheet (you may need a microscope to read it .. :() .. the ability to recharge has about paid for the unit, for me anyway, since 9 volts are not cheap .. also, the pads are good quality and last a good long time with an occasional swab of water ..

I posted it as a "Deal of the Day" when I bought it .. I thought others may have picked one up .. ?? ..

    Downside .. ?? It won't power your PV .. ;)

Although I had some doubts initially, I have grown to like Sec State Rex Tillerson .. I hope he stays in his job ..

Also, for any that may have not heard the recent John McCain speech, let me first say that McCain, no matter his Party affiliation, as a fellow Vet, is a man I respect and admire very much .. his Service to this Great Country is beyond reproach, he defines the word Patriot and I sincerely hope his Medical Issues will be somehow resolved .. here are a couple quotes from the speech I found particularly moving ::

"What a privilege it is to serve this big, boisterous, brawling, intemperate, striving, daring, beautiful, bountiful, brave, magnificent country, With all our flaws, all our mistakes, with all the frailties of human nature as much on display as our virtues, with all the rancor and anger of our politics, we are blessed."

"We live in a land made of ideals, not blood and soil. We are the custodians of those ideals at home, and their champion abroad. We have done great good in the world. That leadership has had its costs, but we have become incomparably powerful and wealthy as we did. We have a moral obligation to continue in our just cause, and we would bring more than shame on ourselves if we don't. We will not thrive in a world where our leadership and ideals are absent. We wouldn't deserve to."

I got a text today from an old friend .. she was somehow able to encapsulate a sentiment within the confines of a text that really made me pause and think ::

"Sometimes, its the World around you that moves away, and you feel like something has been left behind ..."

This has been added to my "Notebook of Notes" .. ;) .. along with a reminder to use the word "filched" if it works ..
