oh cool you decided on a Solo. Now you can pickup some different colored buttons and skeletons and mix and match to co-ordinate with your outfit when going out clubbing.

Thanks for the links, I did a google search on how to replace the buttons and found a good review and disassembly video. One thing that was shown was how to change the brightness of the display and I thought I would pass it on. First, unlock the mod by pressing the + and - buttons together. After it is unlocked press the power button and the + button together then you can change the brightness by holding down the power button and pressing the + to increase or - to decrease the brightness. I went outside and found that with the 100% display brightness I can see the display. Just an added reminder, make sure to lock the mod by pressing the + and - buttons.

I'd have a bit of concern wearing out those little pixels faster running at 100% brightness.

FYI ... I ordered a couple skeletons from the Geek Vape website. The only email I got was from Paypal confirming payment to Geekvape. I didn't get anything thing from Geek Vape, no order#, no order confirmation, no shipping notification; nada. Then it was weeks later the items arrived. Let us know if your experience is different.

What's the skinny on USPS delivery of vape stuff these days .. ??

The Senate passed the bill. It's with the House of Representatives now. If they pass it, then the Prez has to sign it into law. Google has not helped me at all to find out what the House is doing with it or when it may come up for vote.

@Uncle Willie This was a response last week from our senator. So, I'm confused, this doesn't say the USPS can't deliver vape packages. Did this not pass the House and they came up with a new one? Is our senator clueless about what just got passed?

Dated 7-23-20 Thank you for contacting me about the Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act (S. 1253). I appreciate hearing from you.
Specific to your concerns, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced S. 1253 on April 30, 2019. Among its provisions, this legislation would subject electronic nicotine delivery systems, commonly known as e-cigarettes, to certain laws regulating traditional cigarette sales. In particular, this bill would require age verification for all e-cigarette sales, require an adult to be present when e-cigarettes are delivered, and mandate that shipping labels identify if a package contains an e-cigarette.
S. 1253 is currently pending before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Although I am not a member of this committee, I appreciate knowing your views on this subject and will keep your thoughts in mind as this measure progresses through the legislative process.
Thank you again for your correspondence. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future if I can be of assistance.
Sincerely,

Pat Toomey
U.S. Senator, Pennsylvania

Good morning loungers. Boy was it foggy this morning! Gonna have a real feel temp of 98 today - Ugh! Yep, here I am complaining about the heat.

As f we didn't have enough squirrels around here, we're pretty sure at least one of them eating from the "squirrel-proof" bird feeder sure looks like she's pregnant.

We had a Cooper's hawk hanging out on the pool fence for about 1-1/2 hr yesterday just observing the squirrels and birds. Must not have been too hungry because at least twice a squirrel walked right up to it and it just spread it's wings a bit. The hawks usually hunt by coming up from behind so maybe wasn't interested in attacking face to face?

It's funny, but it's been so hot the squirrels are coming onto the deck and laying flat out on their belly in the shade.

Oh my goodness Bea, they're gorgeous! Do they always bloom all at once or do you have to do something to make them do that?

Morning, misfits.

Maybe they're practicing their surfing positions? ;)

We're said to have another nice day here, before they crank it back up...

@Diver9543 Orchids bloom at different times just like other plants. Most species bloom only once a year and many hybrids bloom several times a year. The second and third plants are species so after this they wont bloom again until this time next year. The first one blooms 3-4 times a year. Some types of orchids produce flowers that only last days, some weeks, and some months.

I can’t make them bloom if it’s not their time but they won’t bloom at all if they don’t have the right amount of light or if I don’t care for them properly (temp, water, fertilizer).

I mean on the same stem. Usually buds open closest to the plant and over time keep opening out to the tip. Yours look like they're blooming all at once.

Janet I feel dumb. I linked the previous post to Jerry instead of you. Sorry about that.

Orchids do the same thing. The buds closest to the plant open first. In these three plants all the buds are open. I waited for that before I photographed them.

Good morning. It appears to be a beautiful morning as I sit here looking though the sliding glass doors. I just looked at the weather for today and it'll feel like 99 with 85% humidity. Ugh!

I'd picked up some fluffy nesting material from our local bird store and filled a suet feeder with it to hang on the deck roof. Yep, the hummers must be working on a 2nd clutch of eggs because they're stopping by for a drink and then picking some fluff to line their nest. Now if only I could find their nest and be able to see inside!

I went out to check on the garden and some zucchini had exploded, seemingly overnight. 2 of the zucs are probably a couple pounds each. They're better when they're not so big, but they were hiding. Dang those plants are huge and produce like crazy. There's only 1 plant out there, but it's producing way more than we could ever eat. The freezer is filling up with 2 Cup portions of shredded zucchini to share with family and friends.

Ha Ha, no problem. It's easy to get mixed up online. Orchid blooms last such a long time. I should have thought of that. My blooms only last a day or 2 and they're done so there's never a cluster blooming all at once on a single stem.

Diver, could you post or send me the link to the youtube vid you mentioned. I didn't find that one. I found another vid taking the screen/faceplate off to replace it. The 'new one' had a peel off sheet covering an adhesive backing on the new one.

I'm wondering if when replacing the buttons you need a new screen/faceplate too. Or once the old one is removed is there enough adhesive to re-use it so it stays in place and still keep it 'water proof'.

On the Geek Vape website it actually says you have to 'rip' the old screen plate off.
