I was going to skip the yard work yesterday since the Weather Prognosticators are predicting a cool down this week, but, since I felt pretty chipper, I went ahead with it anyway .. 94o in the shade at the peak, sprayed myself down with the hose numerous times .. took ample breaks .. lived to tell the tale ..

Dryer lint .. ?? Now, that's an item you don't hear much in discussions .. '101 Uses for Dryer Lint' .. are there tips on belly button lint as well .. ?? ..

I've been trying to talk my Aunt Anita into a video call, with no luck .. she has a laptop with a cam, but she won't do it .. I don't really know why .. in the meantime, I made her a couple of video letters and mailed them to her .. sheesh, had to record the video, had to make DVD's, then package them and mail them .. and so, you ask, why not upload and send her the link .. ?? .. She does not use email either ..

The saving grace was they apparently made her day, if not her week .. .. easy to please, I suppose ..

I suppose you had to be up around that time for work, right? I had to be up at 6am to be ready for a one hour drive by 7am. Even after being retired for 6+ years my body hasn’t forgotten

21 years ago I gave birth to my son Jude. He was stillborn. It had been a rough pregnancy and 21years after I still miss my loss. There's nothing that can make things better and I'll always miss him but it gets easier to deal with. Enjoy Paradise my dearest. We'll be together one day.
I think I've told y'all this story before but I felt the need to get it out again.I won't go into other issues that I've dealt with because I just don't have the strength.
Bless those of you with kids and grandchildren because you have been blessed. Enjoy them since you've had them and cared for them. Some mothers would give a hand to be able to hold their child at least once! I didn't get to hold my son or view him. I tend to get jealous of parents with birthing pictures. Enjoy your family. Some of us lost ours.

Good morning, all. I hope everybody has a good day. I actually got a couple of hours of sleep last night. I'll be really happy when we can get back on track with my normal meds. Oh well, at least I am still up and running, slowly but still going. I have a couple of small projects I am going to work on in the workshop. Or I may just pick up another good book in my eBook library and get in my recliner to pass the day.

Yes it is a good day to be staying inside, alhough right now it is very comfortable sitting outside with a slight cool breeze.

The garden is on its own today! Doesn't need watering or any other attention so I can finally sit back and enjoy its beauty.

We hit 96 here, yesterday (along with our usual high humidity), but only supposed to be mid 80s today... and overnight wasn't much better, making it a bit hard to cool the house back down.

Yup, 4:30 to 5 was the usual time. Been longer for me (8), but still on auto alarm mode. My avi cat used to stand on my chest in the AM to wake me, and I never did figure out how he knew about weekends, when he didn't! But it took him a couple years to let me sleep in

Aww this is the first time for me hearing about your loss, I'm so very sorry [emoji22] . My heart goes out to you.
My mom's first born child took his own life at the age of 21. At times, it feels like it was yesterday other times it feels like an eternity.

Losing a child is a heartbreak that unfortunately, too many of us have experienced. I am so sorry for your pain!
Yes, we have been blessed but I do understand your pain! It never really goes away, but after half a century, it is softened by the fact I have an angel watching over me.

The only good thing yesterday is that I finally got everything done for the insurance company. Yes, I finally completed everything they wanted and have homeowners insurance! I just pray they don't do this again next year. Thank y'all for your support!

How is Everzon as a supplier, I've never bought from them before. Decent shipping time? Do the products ship from China or the USA? I saw mixed reviews when I googled 'em. Seems some folks love 'em and some hate 'em.

Took me forever waiting on a Geekvape Aegis Legend that was on sale. It never moved in tracking which was shipped from China. When I emailed them they told me to go through PayPal for a refund. Right after I did that my Legend showed up but their customer service sucks.
