Meet Me in St Louie Louie
Hola .. :)

This gleefully exuberant film from 1897, which has been colorized and originally done by Auguste and Louis Lumière, the first film makers .. it, to me, represents a display of joy and playfulness among a group of adults from a bygone era .. this is a tiny Masterpiece that distills the World down to a very Human level, in contrast to the now ..

And, there does not appear to be a sore Loser in the bunch .. among my list of many pet peeves is :: Taking no responsibility, outright lying, being a sore loser, blaming everyone else and attempting to create mayhem to your own gain .. I would imagine most all of you share these childish trait pet peeves with me ..

BTW, that's me on the left .. :D

I should mention that, if you want to go down the Rabbit Hole .. explore colorized videos and photos on YouTube, especially Auguste and Louis Lumière .. it can be a fascinating trip into a long ago Time ..

Oh my. That's gorgeous! Is it a picture you took while you were at the beach?
Yes. That's Siesta Key Florida. I love that beach! That was the view from my parents condo. They have the best beach. I was lucky enough to get a few sunset pictures so I thought I'd share. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful, mild morning. Maybe this is Indian Summer. This is great weather to work outside so we did. The garden is put to bed, Mike blew leaves for hours and we even got some bagged up to break down for the garden. Today is a good day for throwing junk out!! We have lots of room for storage in this house and that's what we've done for 32 years. Ugh!

Wow, I lost internet service Thursday evening and only got it back a little bit ago. I figured there would be loads to get caught up on here. I guess everyone has been out enjoying all of this nice weather. I went to the Cox website and there was a notice that they were aware of an outage in my area and they were working on getting the service restored as quickly as possible. This evening, I again went to their website using my phone and found a tab for chatting with an agent. I have never called a business and got through to a live agent as guick as I got an agent through the PM. She verified who I was and did a check on my account. She said the service should be restored by 9:40. I ask her who I could talk to about credit for time without service and she said she would take care of it. When I closed the chat window the credit had already been applied to the account. My service was restored by 9:00. It just seems ironic that it was repaired within an hour and a half of our chat when we had been waiting for 4 days.

I'm impressed with the guy riding his bike when everyone else was having trouble just trying to walk.

    Hola .. :)

Spent the bulk of yesterday in the yard doing Phase One leaf and debris cleanup .. Phase One generally involves blowing out planting beds and getting leaves into the open, then raising the mower blade some and mulching them down as best as possible .. it's more work than it sounds ..

It was a windy day, so once an area got done, a gust would come thru and leaves would rain down into my formerly clean area .. that's why I call it Phase One .. still, it hit 80o, I was out there in a tank top and shorts, did break into a little sweat periodically .. and, got some tan, vitamin D ..

Saturday, a bit of a Block Party got thrown together and lasted till the wee hours .. I was initially not going to go but then decided to anyway .. we attempted to maintain distance and observe the other protocols, but, I still know it was a risk .. cabin fever is another part of the Pandemic that sometimes must be addressed .. I was kind of the token Oldster in the bunch ..
