I just went out to put more suet in the feeder and had to shovel my way to it. There's 5" so far, but that's on top of what's still out there from the last storm. This snow is so light I could load up the pusher shovel and dump it over the railing pretty easily. It's still coming down, but the flakes are smaller. I'm thinking this should be pretty easy to snow blow. I just checked our accu-weather app and it says Wed. night to Fri. morning we could get 4-8". Oh joy.

I don't know how anyone else is faring, however, I still don't have any idea from the VA on when I will get my vaccine .. there has been some local registrations, I just am hesitant to go that route, when I already know I'll get one .. I don't want to take someone elses ..

I'm going to add that in this area, likely State wide, the vaccine roll-out seems to be haphazard at best .. there does not seem to be any centralized clearinghouse for signing up, there is little to no notice when and if a vaccine will become available, contacting the local Health Department is a joke, and so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby ..
You'd think that in the Age of the Internet Superhighway, things would be more organized .. they should have put Amazon in charge since at least they know what they are doing ..
As it is, it's like a Bread Line / Toilet Paper shortage .. and, the most annoying part is, the Powers That Be knew a vaccine would become available as well as the scope of the required effort .. there is absolutely no excuse that well in advance preparations were not made .. and, you can bet, whether they fall into the right category or not, the Honchos, Big Wigs, Power Brokers, etc, are getting vaccinated ..
Willie, you are in an at risk group because of your age and also your medical history. Most people are signing up in multiple places even when they don't fit into your category. Our county website stated that Philadelphia is not following the guidelines for who should get the vaccine first. Didn't know they could do that, so just be aware.
We haven't gotten our shots yet. My eye doc said her husband was a covid doc and he said Montgomery County, where we live, is a mess. She and everyone else has said to sign up everywhere we can, doesn't matter which county, and just take the first one that comes through and that's what we've done, but for our area. There are just so many people to get the shots, it's going to take time. Mike wanted to sign up at one place online, but there were 5000 people ahead of him! Others said they weren't taking any more requests so...

I signed up three with NM Dept of Health. I have received an appoint for Wednesday (if nothing goes wrong). If I were establishing the priorities, I would have given medical people and supermarket cashiers first call just because they are more or less constantly exposed. I didn't make the decision and I will get my shot. I suggest you do the same.

Yeah, the last admin "plan" was to deliver doses to the States (by population) and let them figure it out. Yep, worked well. And I agree, Nermal, but would expand that to all the folk who work in the food delivery chain, not just the checkers. If too many of them go down with it, we ALL get hungry!!
So, depending on how each State decides, at LEAST 50 ways to leave your covid...

My neighbors need to get the vaccine as they are both in their 80's and in not the Worlds Greatest Health .. so, I'm trying to get something going for them ..
On a certain level, it seems somewhat unfair in my mind to sign up on multi-facilities, thusly taking multi-spaces and preventing someone else from getting in that line ..

We signed up at 3 paces ... the County, a nearby medical center where one of our doctors works, and a local pharmacy.
But my concern isn't getting a call to come get the vaccine or taking someone else's slot. I just want to make sure the snow blower stays healthy for the next week.
