Hi everyone...when you show up again:)

For some reason I've gone from waking up about 7-8 a.m. to 9-11 am. You'd think the early sunrise would wake me up sooner, but, nope!

But...I woke up to glorious sunshine these last couple of days!!

Enjoy your day!

I don't know how it is in other parts of the Country, but around here, thousands of job openings are going unfilled .. people, apparently, don't want a job ..
Probably not true of everyone, but hey, you do get what you pay for, sometimes. You pay people for not working, you're going to get more people not working. I didn't check out the details this time, but on the last go 'round, folks were getting $600 in addition to the regular unemployment. What kind of fool would accept that paid less for working than staying at home?

I feel bad for sounding like I malign the character of everyone who stayed at home, but it is a logical conclusion.

Good afternoon, all. It started raining a bit ago so I decided to stay inside and rewicked a couple of my Ares. That didn't take long at all to do so I went ahead and made a couple of small batches of cream-type ejuices. I'm not going to make a big batch until I know for sure if I'm going to like them. Other than that I am not planning on anything but relaxing and doing a bit of reading. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and be well.

I was pleased but I literally couldn't get away from the computer from about 1pm to 6pm answering posts in the thread and PMs to me.

Today will be a lot of packaging and shipping label printing, but that's OK too because the sale went so well. It wasn't really about making money as much as getting rid of surplus mods not being used and not needed for the 'stock-up stash'.

I've got another 'for sale' going with tanks, but that ones not moving along so good. Oh well.

EDIT: and 'no', @Uncle Willie I'm not buying more Zenith coils with the money.
I'm glad you mentioned those tanks.

I'm also not trying to sound like I'm throwing shade on those that somehow figure out a way to collect the Unemployment dough, the way it is set up during Covid Days .. well, maybe I am, just a little ..

I hate to go into a rant, but this whole Childcare money bit is a whole 'nother thing .. I know there are plenty of kids out there that are living at or near poverty .. but who really gets this money .. ?? Not the kid .. and the parents earning limits seem to be fairly high as well .. Of course, when a kid gets a stimulus check, it's the Parents that get the stimulus .. "Hey, let's get little wheezer that new Disney toy, and we should have enough left for a down payment on a car .. " or whatever ..

And, my final question is, "How much was that last Social Security increase .. ?? What about the Senior Populace .. ?? " ..

I was blown away at how fast they went. The first one was sold before I finished posting all the pictures. I had no idea they were that popular yet since it's next to impossible to find 18350 batts for the mini's and when/if you do its a crap battery that doesn't last long.

Well that and I had them priced on the low side considering the price included shipping. But it wasn't about the money, I just wanted to get rid of stuff we hadn't used in a couple-few years and help out and make some people happy with a bargain (what with all the junk and yuck going on with vaping now-a-day).

Maybe I earned some good Karma. I'd been looking for a couple weeks for some mini Nautilus GT tanks at a reasonable if not sale price. And I kept striking out. Then last night I found a site with a 25% off code that had what I wanted. :)

Good morning. It's a beautiful, sunny morning. It's only 32 now, but going up to 66 today!

Every night I set up the coffee pot before we go to bed so the coffee is ready when we get up. Last night I forgot to re-set the clock on the pot after the elec was off for a few hours so I got up to a cold pot of coffee! Not nice! That first freshly brewed cup of coffee is so good.

The Kirkland brand of decaf coffee from Costco was wonderful, but they haven't had it for several months (they said it was because they couldn't get the beans) so I've been searching for a decent decaf coffee and think I've finally found it. Peet's makes a dark roast called Major Dickason's decaf that's delicious. If I have to drink decaf it should at least taste good.

Hubs can’t have much caffeine so he mostly drinks decaf. He really likes Peet's Major Dickason too and also their Sumatra and Mocha-Java.
You might also look at Thanksgiving coffee company and Birds & Beans.

All the above are a bit more pricey than grocery store decaf but also taste better. Of all the grocery store decafs hubs has tried the Folger's Hazelnut is his favorite.

I have finally adjusted to the latest Daylight Savings Time cycle .. it always takes me about a week .. until I get adjusted, I just feel kind of bleary and out of sync .. IOW, I absolutely despise the time change ..

On a side note, if you Netflix, give "The Last Blockbuster" a whirl .. it's a solid trip down Memory Lane ..

As for me...I never received one cent from the government...not the first $600 or the app. 1,000$!!And, I don't expect the second round!:(
And I've been on GM retirement and S.S. disability for over 20 years!

BUT...it's another in-the-low to mid 70'S with the sun shining brightly!

Thanks, I'll have to try those that you mentioned. I like a full bodied decaf and it's hard to find them. Sometimes they say they're bold, but I've been disappointed. I gravitate to the French roast. I still miss that jolt I used to get from a live cup, but my heart doesn't appreciate it so I'm going for flavor instead. 2 cups a day for me and even at the grocery store prices it's still cheaper than at a coffee shop.

My brother has been on SS disability for years and he got his money automatically deposited in his bank account. Don't you get direct deposit of your payments? Did you get it and not notice? If you didn't, be sure to check out the link Willie posted.

Good morning, all. I can't believe that I am the first one to post this morning. I've been up for about an hour and a half and I'm not happy about it. I did manage to get about 3 1/2 hours of sleep. I hate it when I roll over in bed and my back screams and hollers at me. No way I can return to bed and sleep after being woke up like that. Oh well, that's life. Stay safe and well.
