Morning, lizards.

More sun, temps heading back up for a couple days, and they think we might set a new record for number of days of 90 or more... not the record we like to set. But at least they've been (mostly) spread out, a couple here and there with some cooling in between.

And for those who question the strength

Nah, you've been around long enough to know how to not get nic poisoned While not at your level, I still vape at around 18 mg/ml, for similar reasons. It's enough to keep me "happy", and as you mention, uses less juice overall. (But unflavored isn't my cuppa )

Re-vamped ECF does not appear to have beefed up activity, certainly not around these parts .. It's tough to get motivated to write when you don't know if anyone is reading ..

Oh, well .. we can only hope that we don't go the way of other Threads that died a slow death eventually ..

It's been the same on the other vape forums and over the same period we've seen here. Things mostly went south after everyone bought gear and nic for their stashes. Traffic really dropped off when the mail ban took hold.

There are still threads popping up with vape related questions but nothing like it was.

The only way I know if anyone has read one of my posts is if they give feedback. When I don't get any I begin to wonder... what's the point. I think the feedback system is excellent but only if it's used. There are plenty of threads I visit and give feedback to posts even though I may not have anything to contribute. Personally, I think people like to see feedback for their content. At least it lets 'em know someone read it.

Outta curiosity, I would like to know how many messages there are over a day, a few days and a week (maybe longer). New users will show up under 'Members'. The mods know the full stats. It would be nice if they would occasionally post what they know, as in, a forum news kind of post.

My days as a Mod on a very large Audio/Video forum left me with software that tracks those very things .. I won't put up the numbers but I will say, ECF is not in the worst shape as it relates to non-registered visitors .. in fact, a good number more than actual registered members at any given time .. that's not really unusual, although a very low conversion from browsing and reading to registration is somewhat unusual .. see below ..

What that says is, people are finding the site, likely gleaning some value to it, yet are not compelled for any obvious reason to become a member nor post ..

In addition, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, areas on ECF such as 'The Lounge' are not indexed with Google .. yet, based on the Forum itself and the treasure trove of historical and current information as it relates to our 'hobby', indexing of those areas is very good .. which also speaks to why there are more non-registered visitors by far than actual, registered (and Posting) members .. which kind of makes ECF the WIKI of the e-cig as it relates to years of information that is, in fact, indexed .. there is no way I know of to really monetize that other than a pay wall ..

As an example .. if you search on ECF for 'Cartomizer', you'll easily find threads going back to 2010 ..

Good morning peeps. Beautiful day here. Going to 83 and mostly sunny.

I did make chili yesterday. Nice to have a home cooked meal instead of the Nurtisystem meals. The chili makes me think of Fall and I guess we're headed there. It was 57 last night.

Mike pulled out the old ProVari yesterday. That used to be my daily gear until the mods came out and they got put away. I forgot what it felt like to vape with one and I also forgot how easily they could be tipped over. Still, it's a very nice PV.

So, that's my vape post for the day. I think the days of frequent posts about vaping are gone until people come to their senses and the fear and disinformation is finally squelched. Meanwhile I'm going to enjoy the company of vapers here and hope it continues. We help each other in many more ways than sharing vaping info.

For me, it's hard to make "vape posts" since, well, it's been years since I've gotten anything new to talk about. Well stocked with what I use, such that it will probably show up in my will. No interest in all the "latest and greatest" which all seem to be pods.

I am also set with my preferred vape gear. Mostly RDA's and RTA's. Have a couple Innokin Zenith D22's + coils in case I'm someday unable to rebuild. Mods, good mix of mechs and regulated. Been set w/nic for some time.

These days something has to really jump out and grab my attention for me to buy. Haven't seen much that has.

As of a couple minutes ago we were at 16,677,277 messages. My screenshot from yesterday at 1:37pm had 16,676,915 messages.

362 new messages over nearly 26 hours or 13.92 per hour.

And one new member.
