Late night post. It was beautiful here yesterday and it will be nice the rest of the week. Up to 83 on Thursday. YAY!
I love those mornings when you get up and have no plans except to be a sloth and it ends up being an extremely productive day. That was my day, after the coffee. of course.
I decided to change my sheets which led me to flip my mattress. Difficult for one person to do a king-size by herself but I did it. (I think the lifting weights at the gym is helping, heehee)
When I flipped everything over I noticed how dusty it was under the bed. The last time it was done my mother did it and she has been gone for almost 19 years. It was awful. I vacuumed and wash the baseboards. Put on all fresh sheets and I am going to sleep so well. (fingers crossed)
Went to eat with my aunt and cousin at my fav restaurant Bonbons. I ate Mediterranean Grilled Salmon with Rice Pilaf and a vegetable medley. It was not cheap but it did not include garlic bread. Can you believe that? It was only $1 so of course I ate bread. heehee
After I got home my friend Jimmy came over. (ex-bro-in-law)
Had an absolutely wonderful time. He just left as a matter of fact. He played the guitar and sang me about eight songs or so. Two that I had never heard of because he wrote them. He says he is going to get them registered or whatever you do. I honestly can hear Chris Stapleton singing one of them and it would be a hit. I would put money on it and I only bet on sure things.
I was in heaven. I love to watch him play. He was in a band a long time ago (which is why he is hard of hearing). He is going to put new strings on my guitar. The one that he loaned me six years ago but says it is mine. He taught my daughter to play the bass and ended up giving her a bass guitar at a bar one night where he asked if she could get on stage and play a song with him. It was a very memorable night for me and I will never forget it. Well, I might but until then, it is a wonderful memory.
Just wanted to share my day with you. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is going to have an awesome week.

Well yesterday was a birthday party blast at our son's house. Beckett turned 5 and the boys had a great time. Our son made double decker smash burgers on the grill and they were delicious, but definitely not on our diet. Between that and cake we're going to have to starve for the next few days.
Speaking of starving and diets, I'm going to have to do some summer clothes shopping. All my summer stuff is in storage (and probably won't fit anyway) and I'll need something to wear to Key West. Maybe I should get that started today since there's nothing on the schedule that we have to do. Problem is I hate shopping. As a woman isn't that supposed to be part of my dna to love shopping?

I carry mine in my rear pocket. If you do that and your light is on, men will be able to see to follow you. Of course you'll also want to carry a light in front so you can turn around and see who's interested...

Oops Janet, only 27 days til spring. I know that was a typo. We have not gotten cold enough not to see Robin here and I am not complaining. I am so ready for Spring.
Until recently I have never been one to enjoy shopping. But I did not have anyone that would shop for me and I had to have something to wear. I think my summer wardrobe will be much less expensive since I found that awesome thrift store. I am just about ready to get back on the chore of getting rid of everything and they will be getting some quite large donations from me.
Everyone tells me they will help me with a yard sale but what I have not given away so far, I would just as soon donate and be done with it. I have actually had fun giving stuff to people. I gave a big bag to my friend Cindy and told her to walk through the dining room and living room and take whatever she wanted or whatever she could find a home for. I have not found many things that I am attached to. I wonder if that is sort of weird. Hmmmm?

Latest storm came in about dinner time last night, not a lot of rain, but heavy winds. Still dark, so don't know if we lost more trees... Said to be heavy snow in the hills, a fine place for it!

Good morning! Spring must be close because we're entering weird weather days. Today the high is 45, tomorrow it's going to 73, then on Friday it'll be 49 and 37 for Saturday. With sunshine on Thurs and Fri it should be lovely days to take the boys to the park.
That little one is adorable, but I'd be afraid I'd loose something little like that. But I guess it couldn't get too lost if I kept it in my bra.
I'm not keeping any guns in my bra...don't need that kind of boob job. Someone on ecf said they would be embarrassed to be shot with my purple glock.
