Triple digits are lousy...with or without humidity. :glare:
Got that right! I lived in Las Vegas for three years. What a gawd forsaken place that is.

Funny thing is, a lot of lifers say they just don't feel right until it gets over 100°. They're liars! They spend all of their time in air conditioning.

When I lived there, Johnny Carson owned a TV station in the valley. He was in town and the station interviewed the boss man. He was asked how he liked the weather ... I'll have to paraphrase: He replied, "It's hot!". Interviewer, "Yeah, but it's a dry heat." Carson, "Well, it's dry in my oven too and it's hot as hell in there."

Hi NCC - thanks, I found it. Lima beans are not poisonous to dogs, but they really aren't the best for them either. I just dint want to have to pick them out of the pre-mixed veggies.

Sea -- my friend feeds his dog broccoli all the time and the dog loves it. The doc said the dog should eat more stuff like that due to some condition it has. It will go for that before meat!

My dogs love all cooked veggies - especially green beans and cauliflower.

I did a little study last month on high purine foods. Not all veggies are good for ppl after they reach a certain age. I have a friend in SD who has fibromyalgia, and she says she aches all over. I googled achey joints and found that high-purine foods attribute to achiness.

A vegetarian dog? LOL

not completely, but mostly. Something happened to its joints and it could barely walk. After a big doctor bill and multiple shots the dog is up walking again (walks the length of a double garage on its back legs and is learning to ride a bike) and eats a lot of veggies and fish.
