Snort -- You're welcome :D I like doing welcomes. It's fun! I don't wanna do 'em every day but I certainly don't mind adding to beef up the thread.... besides, it gives you a chance maybe to make a new friend!

Yeah, one reason I left the PVT thread, I just couldn't do it everyday. Well, some folks like the welcomes, others, meh...we post because we want to. :)

Isn't that "just" cleaning? Painful, uncomfortable, yes. It's four appointments each year, hopefully less later.

No... not as I understand it. "Planing and scaling" goes 4-5mm below gumline. Regular cleanings stop pretty much AT the gumline. One appointment for each quadrant. Then I can get back to regular cleanings.

This ENTIRE thing really cheeses me off. I thought (!) I took good care of my teeth. Even go three times a year for cleanings - for over 20 years. Then, all of a sudden, things turn to crap. Makes me "grrr".

Sorry about that, Bear. I went through that, all four quadrants. You'll be OK. I just thought of them as more "thorough" cleanings.

And that's why there is the phrase, " hit happens"... I took two halcion and had the whole thing done at once. Still needed a few pain pills for after for two days.... It is not fun. Plan on some soft foods and milkshakes....
