You're sure a brave one, NCC, venturing out in high winds areas in your Smart. Maybe you should open the trunk and put a load of gravel in it to make sure the wind doesn't pick it up. Nice to see your updates on Debby!:)
I've been pleased (and a bit surprised) with how well the smart handles the wind. Yeah, gusts push it around a bit, like any other high profile vehicle, but no worse. If you relax and don't over-correct/over-react, the car more or less corrects any course deviations almost by itself. Although, I'm not sure how high cross winds may impact the convertible roof. I think it's ok in any winds I'm expecting. It can be opened/closed at any speed (up to 92 MPH max speed). If you're up late, I'll have today's video up.
