Yeah, not here in the burning bummer of the South either. Next one is something like 5 years away. It will be visible in a strip across the USA. I'll see that one even if I have to drive to it.

Notice totality passes just south of Portland. I can do that. And, gawd forbid, I'm still stuck here, not that long a drive either.

Hey! The middle stripe goes right over my house!

Eclipse party in 5 years in SC, woot! :D

I missed your post jj, but the headache with elevated pressure sounds like something to worry about. I'm sorry to hear this. Maybe a massage would help temporarily to relax him? I would think layin' down would be a good thing.....

He has been feed, shoulders and neck message and he just headed to bed.

Hi Fudgey. :)

Maybe some cold water on the face, head? That should help reduce the heat. :)

Watch his temperature, jj.

I have seen a total solar eclipse, it was interesting, the totality lasted about 2 minutes. Now it falls into the "been there, done that" category.
Wow, really? First, that's kewl. But, I don't think I could ever put it in that category. Different strokes. Some people feel Barringer Crater is just a hole in the ground.

I saw a partial, back in the early 1970s. It was overcast that day. But, a distinct dimming of daylight even so. It was nifty.
