I thought of Tigress too, but in this day of equal rights, I wasn't sure how you would take it. :)

I will fix my post. ;)

Edit: NO, I wasn't talking to Lis. Sheeesh !!!!! :p

Won't he be confused if he reads back for you having done that? I know I would be...
Maybe that's not a fair comparison.

Considering all the things that the Chinese invented, like paper, eyeglasses, gunpowder, you would think that they would have invented something better than chopsticks to eat with.

Actually, chopsticks are very versatile, act as fork, scoop, even knife. Chinese food is cut into smaller pieces during preparation, so no big chunks to deal with. :)

I read somewhere the American way to eat a steak is to cut a small piece at a time, eat, then cut again, knife and fork in hands. The British way is to cut the steak up first, put down the knife, then eat with a fork. :)

The German way is to cut with a knife in one hand and use the fork in the other...none of this switching utensil in the same hand business. Wastes too much time.

Yup, that's our way, Jag. My way is whatever works for me and whatever mood I'm in at that time. LOL
