Oh I'm so glad that it's come down!!!!! It still needs to come down a little, Lis, but 145/95 is much better than 240/110. I was so worried about you.

Any idea on how it came down?

very low salt and very low fat, i also stopped taking little bits of salt on my hand to my tongue once in a while

Eyeeeeee! Don't do that!!! My mother used to do that too. She was hypertensive as well. I wonder if you have been missing some mineral in your diet that made you crave the salt so.... I am so glad to hear your pressure has dropped! It was dangerously high....

Well Lis, that's not so bad. Just fry your roots in extra-virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil, b/c it has the MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) that are so good for us. Don't eat margarine, eat natural butter or EVOO (extra-virgin olive oil) drizzled over the tops. For salt, buy it at a health food store - it's not very expensive at all. If you can't get to one, then go to your market and choose Hain brand Himalayan sea salt. For rice, try weaning yourself off of white rice and onto brown rice.

Hi there, Sun! How are your pets doing?

LOL -- running me ragged. They are the quickest little things and good climbers too. By the time I can step through the doorway at least two of them will have run out into the kitchen. Then the come running back to "mama" while the others run out. In the end, we have to corral all of them, put them up on the cat condo and run for the door lol. Ahhh..... but they give such good kisses, and that makes it all worthwhile. It will be hard to part with them if and when they finally get adopted. They must though, or dh will kill me. lol

LOL, Sun, never a dull moment, huh? I remember how rambunctious kittens can be. When I visited a friend of mine in Oregon years ago and slept on her couch, she forgot to take her kittens with her when she went to bed. I would just about get to sleep, and then they would pounce on me. I dint get much sleep at all - they just never really wore themselves out.

Oh, I see, Fudgey - I just went to weather.com and saw that you're in the red danger zone for the Beryl storm. Hope you have lots of oil for your lamps or candles.

No......I am in Oklahoma.......no where near that.

Hi Ginger.......how are you today?
