Hi Lisa -- where ya been hidin?

.......Ohio - twice since I last posted! Crazy RL stuff. Plus, I'm in the final stages of planning for a remodel that has grown much larger than I had anticipated. Change one thing and it leads to more, and more, and more. Bathrooms will all be gutted and everything in the kitchen but the cabinets, which, Fudgey, are pecan, so there's no way I'm getting rid of those!

I will look and have dh pick me up some special foods. I read about the meds and saw two other people posting of the same problem. Apparently the med also acts partly as a diuretic but causes swelling if you take it in the morning so I have started taking it at night and propping my legs up on pillows to sleep. It has gone down slightly since yesterday so I am hopeful but will continue to monitor it. I go back to the doctor next week and will let her put me on something else if it is still swollen. Thanks for letting me know.

Good ... inflammation is underrated and overlooked too many times for as dangerous as it is to the organs of the body. If you go to amazon.com and search for "anti-inflammatory diet", you will get all sorts of hits. Then you can check to see if your local library has those books .... no need to buy them. Thankfully, there's so much free info in the internet.

This really scares me .... let me know how it goes. Nuff said, take care, dearheart.:)

Mmmmmmm. Sea, I love cinnamon in coffee. My sister-in-law turned me onto that. So good!

It is good, Lisa. The only problem is that ground cinnamon turns into a slimy consistency in coffee. If a person uses it everyday, one could buy cinnamon oil. It's a humdinger for stabilizing blood sugar in the body.

You're right about the consistency. I learned it the hard way a couple of times when I've added it to the ground coffee before brewing it. I just shake some on top of the coffee........... but when too much is added, it clogs up the whole thing and overflows onto the counter. I thought more would be better but not in this case!
