Vaper Love Letter
There will come a day
when juices flowed from free running springs
and yours and my favorite flavors bleed from dreams,
fellow escapees from the addiction,
refugees running from doomed fires, consumed
into the outstretched arms of smoky pretense
where more than currents shall pass
through
and recharge our
batteries anew.
There will be a place
where tips are auctioned and tricks traded
and every static soul turns electrician
paying humble homage to the gods of ohms,
where care packages cross interchangeable parts
and high voltage meets low resistance
as we gather at the charging station, spinning
to align our pluses and minuses.
And there will be you and me,
we sharing the same PV (point of view),
soaked our heads in the same boiling baths,
watched the rapid blinks of our depleted cells,
who lost ourselves in the same vapor clouds
when we inhaled from the same mouthpiece.
Will our affection be measured in milliliters or
will we each become the other's enduring habit?
I've been meaning to clean all my cabinets with a wood conditioner
Well, I am glad it is a short trip too! But I hope it is long enough to enjoy yourself and relax a little.
