I need to get going as it is laundry night, the dryer is just about done and I have a structural engineer coming to my house early in the morning. It's not a social visit. Don't even ask!!!!!

Jag.....after my first husband died, I had already talked to our home office where I worked about a transfer to Oregon because they have a big office there. You are right...I would love Oregon, I already know that. Anyway, before I could seriously check out the jobs our home office had out there, my current hubs asked me for a date....and after the 2nd date, I told them I wanted to stay in Illinois.
We have gone in mid Sept before and actually had better weather than we did in August. Never been this late in September but I don't even care if it rains all the time. Depot Bay is amazing for watching whales. We usually always see some!

In Depot Bay they have a metal whale that spouts water every minute or so. My sis-in-law went with us once and made the mistake of saying 'OH, a spRouting whale'!! Hehehe..........I NEVER let her forget that!
You can eat at Gracie's Sea Hag and listen to them play the bottles to OMPHA music too.
And we could have Sweet Pea come and meet us.
