Sigh.........I knew it wouldn't fly............but can't blame a girl for trying.

I have seen a lot of this country, but I have never seen the Oregon coast....it looks beautiful...and whale watching too!
Wonder if hubs would miss me if I just snuck away for a few days. 
I'm back, earlier than I thought but now I'm 9 pages behind and you'll all be gone by the time I catch up. Damn it!
The Castle was closed (can you believe that) so we went to a waterfront restaurant that is even more expensive than the Castle if you can believe that! 8-o There was a small cruise ship docked at the pier by the restaurant so I got a pic of that and a few others to show you guys including a double rainbow. I'll save those for tomorrow. Andy had his usual hamburger and beer and I had a steak salad (5 small pieces of steak) on a huge platter of lettuce and a beer. 40 freakin dollars! 
That might not sound like much to you easterners but that is ridiculous for here. It was good though and the view was gorgeous as always. It was nice when we got there so we almost ate on the outside deck but it was a good thing we didn't because the wind picked up and it was crazy windy.

In Depot Bay they have a metal whale that spouts water every minute or so. My sis-in-law went with us once and made the mistake of saying 'OH, a spRouting whale'!! Hehehe..........I NEVER let her forget that!
You can eat at Gracie's Sea Hag and listen to them play the bottles to OMPHA music too.
And we could have Sweet Pea come and meet us.
You are making this sooooo tempting...even tho our best friend's daughter is getting married that week. Hubs is grilling meat for the reception. Wonder if they would miss me.
