Oh, but the airport is packed with such iiiiinteresting people, cry babies and all.

I found smaller airports soooo much better. LAX made me want to strangle someone, but our local little airport was nice and relaxing, very short lines.

I had the same problem with the Las Vegas airport that I flew to 2ce a month. After I bought a Walkman (remember those?) and put it to use, the only thing that bothered me was the exhaust odors of the airport. Funny how when one sense is affected another one amplifies its reaction.

Or you can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Except for those bumpy rides....they aren't any fun at all! My last trip was bumpy the whole way...my knuckles were white from hanging on to the armrest!

One time I flew to Iowa on business, changing planes in Denver. During take off, we hit a vacuum and the plane dropped 100 feet!! We were all lifted out of our seats and people were screaming!! It was...interesting.

Another time, landing in NY's Laguardia in a 747, we barely missed a small plane who wasn't supposed to cross our way, emergency powers!! Climb, climb!!!! Afterwards, the seasoned pilot came on the PA and said in a calmly manner..."Ehhh...sorry about that, folks. There was a private plane who wasn't supposed to be there."

WOW!! Yea...I can see why you wouldn't want to fly again! That would scare the crap out of me! I like adventure, but dang!

Umm...that was not exhaust you smelled.:laugh:

I like to watch people eat. Some couples sit down together, eat together but never look at each other during the meal - odd.

Married a long time. :D

Those air pockets are fun, Jag. I experienced a few of those, myself. LOL

Oh, no!! It was fun!!

I figure it's a crap shoot every time I get on a plane. Bwahahahaha

Well goodnight Jerry! Thanks for the scares! jk...talk to you tomorrow! :)
I was being nice, Campi. I didn't tell you about the guy who walked into the tail rotor of a running Huey or the guy who tried to leave the hangar through the hangar doors, that were closing at that time. He didn't make it.

Good night Starry - hope the next wish you make on a shooting star comes true for you!:)

Good night Jan - glad you had a special day among friends and family!:)

Good night Jerry; thank you for the earlier PMs catching me up, and sweet dreams!:)

I'm out too my friends, the reason I couldn't stay caught up tonight was b/c I was multi-tasking. I accepted a job from one of my favorite Marine vets for tomorrow (short notice), so I need to go gear up.

Chat y'all soon.

BTW, I just realized I haven't seen Shoe in a while - hope he's okay.
