Lounging By the Beach - Part 3

Rain is falling in Scotland after weeks of lovely sunshine, and the air smells....wonderful.
Got a good payday from three days hard labour and the knowledge that I can pay my bills for a while is taking the edge off my aching limbs!!

Its sort of satisfying too ,to transform someones garden from a veritable jungle, to somewhere that you'd want to sit out and enjoy the day

The cruel twist of fate is the change in the weather...Oh well, I did my part and they were really happy with my fee ( thought it was good value) so that makes me happy

Aloha on the Beach! Popping by before I start my day of work at home today.

Found a good sale on potatoes - 50 lbs for $6.99, so I'm dehydrating them for pantry storage - some in cubes, others in slices. After they're done, going back to the store to pick up a 50 lb bag of onions for $13.99 to process and dehydrate.

Strained my right wrist lifting something too heavy, but it is completely well with no pain today. Then I sprained my right ankle yesterday ... was loading equipment into my car ... had too heavy of a load of equipmt in my arms and lost my balance when I tried to lay it in the back seat ... stepped off the curb, turning my ankle and ending up flat on my back on the sidewalk. So I'm hobbling around today and may go to the thrift store to buy a pair of cheap crutches to use for the week.

Fergie is doing well today, but she's going to be mad when she finds out I won't be able to walk her this week. Temp is 70 deg. this morning, and the sky is clear and sunny.

Gram, I loved this! I watched it twice - once as it was and once in full screen mode. Lots of UFO's buzzing around in it!

Speaking of UFO's: Canada has recently made basic disclosure on UFOlogy and those aliens present living and working among us on an Air Force base in the U.S. Looks like now the U.S. has to make at least partial disclosure to follow up.

VG, I have slept out under the stars in Utah....4 day rafting trip down the Colorado River, beginning in Moab Utah. It was phenomenal.....they looked like you could touch them.....and clouds were the same way. The western skies are beautiful, both day and night.

I love that Cadeau has become an important part of your life. To quote Dr. Albert Schweitzer:

"Unless he extends his circle of passion to include all living things, man will not himself find peace." One of my golden rules.

I know Dark Sky was Awesome, and I don't use that word much.

And Yes, I Love my Baby. She's a very important part of my Life.

Great News about Fergie. Glad she's doing better.

Those 70 degree days are what I remember about CA. Always beautiful days, seemingly endless beauty. They say it Never Rains in Southern California. Of course it does, but I remember those gorgeous days.
