I am tuckered... tuckered and achy. I'm not used to this kind of labor, but it's good fore the body. The body is supposed to move and work. And it's paying fairly well, too.

It's been slow for a few days now with everyone being busy. Guess it's that time of year.
Painting is really hard on me. I can do just about anything else and it doesn't hurt the old body as much as that. I can spread it out though so it's not too bad. YAH

I never minded painting with a roller, especially inside walls. I learned much later how to use a brush and load it up, spread it out, and the fill it in. IDK how a Pro might do it, but that works pretty well for me. I like to get ALL the holes, cracks and crevices filled in. The front door needed work, filling in with putty, but it will look like a brand new door when I'm finished.
I'm better than DH. Especially trimming around things. He is messy!! He just finished the doing the door to the garage and the outside. He did the trim around the windows in a different color. He even taped before he did. I need to go and make it look pretty.
I'm pretty meticulous about my work, no matter what I'm doing. There are ways to paint without making such a mess. Masking is one, but minimizing is another where edges like that are concerned.

I only tape if I'm using a roller. I have less of mess if I trim without it.

Good Morning, Beachers......sorry I did not make it back last night. Granddaughter and I fell asleep on the sofa waiting for her mom, who did not get back here until after 9. There was a health issue with her aunt.....so I had granddaughter longer than expected.
And this morning...already busy with phone calls and getting RW stuff done.
I have not done any back reading, but I see Lisa did survive the birthday party.
I still have some things to do, and then exercise class this afternoon. I went for a three mile walk with a friend yesterday up and down some hills....today I am not moving so quickly. And here's my sign.

Good morning to Glam and VG.
Glam three miles might have been a wee much to start out with. I went for a walk yesterday too. Kept it to about a mile.

Well, No. Like my last post said, I put on NetFlix and I watched Supernatural for a while. My Internet died in the middle of one. I called and there was an area outage that didn't come back On for nearly an hour, so I went to bed.
I so hate when the internet goes out. I hate it worse when my cable goes completely. I lose TV, phone, and Internet.

It's a TV Series, but Yes, it will pick up where it left off. Netflix is cool about that.
My area-wide outage included everything, so I lost Internet and Phone... I don't have Cable TV because I don't watch it. The last time this happened, I called Tech Support on my cell and asked her if she could Forward my phone for me. The answer was No. I asked her to tell the Engineers that we need help with this; for them to see if they could find a way for Tech Support to be able to Forward the Phone for us, since we can no longer call in to do it for ourselves. My little business runs from this household landline, and when the phone is out, no one can call me. If Tech Support could Forward it to my cell, then I could receive calls.

BTW, that is just orange juice in that glass....
Last night I ate two hot dogs, four pizza rolls, a cupcake, two small round brownies dipped in chocolate and a piece of birthday cake. And two beers. The cupcakes and brownies had Mickey ears. The guest of honor played with a giant 5 foot articulated Mickey balloon with weighted feet the entire time....she couldn't have cared less about anything else......it never left her sight.
I doubt I'll be eating much today. have a great Monday.
