Hi Tink....happy car shopping. Actually, I bought my last car from an online ad I saw from a dealership a couple of hours from here. I knew what I wanted, and they had it. I called them and said...you have one shot...give me your best price. I had already researched and knew what I should pay. They came back with a tremendous price.....and I bought it right over the phone.

Hope we see you around here this week..it has been pretty slow.

Hey Beachers....hubs is taking me to Red Lobster for dinner. Will see you as soon as I get back.

I'm so jealous! my sister & I alway go to red lobster twice a year and have lobster for our birthdays (we each pay for our own) but they tore our red lobster down to the ground last summer and are rebuilding it... but won't be open until January!

Hey mixxy.....we do not eat lobster there....we like crab and shrimp better. Or at least our pocketbooks do. I had crab/corn/potato chowder. It was really good.

There are things about dentures that they don't tell you. Unless you're in a lot of pain, I'd keep my teeth as long as possible.

You can't always trust what a Dentist tells you. One wanted to pull all of my teeth about 25 years ago. He said they'd fall out. I said, "Then let them fall out. I'm not paying You to pdo it!!!" Guess what, I stall have all of them. I used a product called IPSAB to clean up my gums and all I do is have cleanings now.

VG... I'll keep my teeth as long as I can... Just get fed up with dental problems. Haven't had dental insurance for 25 years and have a lot of bone loss... So have to start having that special (expensive) cleaning every 3 months now

Hi everyone

My granddaughter got her walking cast put on today. She does not like the shoe they put over it, but she has to wear it! She started screaming tonight because dad was trying to get her to walk and wouldn't pick her up. The joys of payback! She was walking with grandpa and me just fine.

Hooray for the walking cast!

I am looking at 'preowned' (nice word for "used" LOL) smaller SUVs. I'm really liking the Lexus . I am looking at the 2009-2010 models. I want something 'coushy' inside

You think I can afford lobster? I have never ordered lobster at Red Lobster. I had a cup of the crab/corn/potato chowder and split the chili lime shrimp appetizer with hubs. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I am stuffed. And I did not eat the biscuits which I LOVE!!!

WHAT????? How did you resist those biscuits????
