Hi everyone :) Just passing through, not feeling well today. This 20 degree weather all day long is killing my sinuses!!!

Have a great Monday.....I will stop by when I can this week. Open enrollment deadline to get everything in is this Sunday 8-o

Hi Fudgey,

Sorry about the sinuses.

I've never asked. I'm sure you've said, but are you working at a school now?

Then come do mine. :D

Fudgey ~ ~ I hope you feel better!!

Glammie… Does your 'old girl' have a name?? I always hear you refer to her as 'old girl' or 'old diabetic cat'

LOL....her name is Spice. We got her and her sister when they were tiny, not even eating yet...some farmer found them on his doorstep and called a friend to come get them...she trained them to eat and use a litter box, and then called us to see if we would take them. We called them Sugar and Spice. Sugar died a couple of years ago.....she had kidney failure. Spice is still with us...she ate bacon grease and got the diabetes from the resulting pancreatitis. She is 11.

Sugar and Spice are great names! Spice is 11. I don't really have an idea of how long to expect Cadeau to be with me. I was told that the American Siamese I had could live to be 30 years old. Of course, IDK if that's really true.

Some cats do live to around 20 yrs old. I think the average lifespan is around 12-15 yrs. Of course, my pissing cat will probably set the world's record for 'oldest cat'

My daughter's Siamese is now 19. The bad news.....he throws up every day, refuses to eat most cat food and loves to pee on their bed. She just cannot bring herself to have him put down as long as he is not in pain....she has had him longer than she has had her kids.

That is basically what Prissy is doing. Friend has to put a plastic on the bed and then a blanket or otherwise she is washing their bed stuff every time she turns around.
