Maybe mice munched on them?

Oh me, is that a sore subject in my house!! My pissing cat, Oliver, has either brought in or found a couple of mice recently. DH is in an absolute dither over it! He HATES the thought of having mice (we have never had them). I do not like to kill anything… so I am trying to come up with ways to repel them :D DH wants an exterminator called yesterday!!

It's nice you don't want to kill them but I'm with DH.

We put Decon in places.

UH oh DH is up. Guess he can't sleep. :(

No, it must be a problem with the wiring because whole sections are out (not burned out bulbs)

Eek, wiring probs ... better unplug it when you leave the house, Tink.

Hello Seabrook!! Sorry you had to break the Sabbath but very glad you got a new client (and a good tip!)

Hello Seawolf!! So great to see you here!!

Hi Tink, and thank you.:)

Look into sonic transducers. They can be set for different animal species, or get some just for rats and mice.

I try to take them away before they kill them...and then turn them loose in the freezing cold.:unsure:

Kinda looks like this.....right out of the 70s. We can put on our bell bottoms and rock around your tree, Tink. Does it have a color wheel? :p

My grandparents had that tree WITH THE COLOR WHEEL! I would absolutely love to have that now! Not joking! Maybe it is nostalgia. Which is weird, because I never cared too much for that set of grandparents (and I don't think they ever cared that much for me). In fact, about the only time I saw that set of grandparents was during Christmas… during the obligatory visits

That's the first thing I thought of jj. Another poster in the Christan Vapers subf. had mice get into her basement food supply. And I heard something under my home for the last couple of days ... except for today. Time for more D-con ... I so hate to do that when a cold little body is just looking for a nest.:( Last year when I put D-con out, it took the bait, but it had torn about 6 feet of my insulation out from under the house, and I was afraid it would chew through my electrical.

Once they eat it, it takes a while to do them in. Not long though.

Sorry about the wall but better safe than sorry.

You can get a switch similar to this...

I couldn't find the exact picture of what I get from Lowe's, but it's the same idea... you can control the tree lights. I'm pretty sure Walmart has them too.

We do have one plugged into an outlet in our bedroom. I don't know if they work or not?? Oliver can't get out into the yard, but can get on a screened in porch that has spaces between the porch and screens. Spaces big enough for birds, skinks, and mice to get through. I'm thinking he is bringing mice in when they venture onto the porch?? I've not seen any evidence of them anywhere else in the house.

We got some of those!

Don't know if they work on mice but not bad on bugs.

Going to get some then for sure! I don't mind grand daddy longlegs, so I let them live with me. Now they've multiplied, and a couple of them have fallen on me, so I'm for sure getting some of those. They like to live in the ceiling corner of my shower.
