I need to get smaller pliers and wire cutter. I am using 'regular' sized ones. It would be easier if they were smaller!

Bye.

Here are a couple of cheap sets...

The round-nose pliers are great for this kind of work. You can also find kits like this at Lowe's and Sears, and probably at Hobby Shops and Craft Shops, too, though the latter 2 would be the more expensive places to get them. I think the kit I have now came from Sears. It's a made-in-China brand with the red handles... not Craftsman.

ETA:
Not mine, but here's a Craftsman set from Sears...

I'd have to recommend this Craftsman set. The China stuff is cheaply made, and the return springs don't last long. Craftsman is good stuff, and this set doesn't cost much more than the Walmart stuff.

I do have very small round nose pliers. They are completely metal, no spring, and they work great. When I was a jeweler and we had pearls to restring I would take them home to do. My boss hated doing it, I liked it, and he gave me all the $ that he charged for the job :D I used those little pliers and kept them when I left (he didn't care).

Good morning beach kids! :)

Just wanted to pop in and say hi real quick! I put way too many things off, and now I've been swamped trying to get everything done to be ready to go visit the grandkiddies for Christmas :( I think in my little mind I was expecting the weather to stay bad.. and that I wouldn't be able to go.. so I AM glad I'm going IF I can ever get ready

Good morning Mixxy ... guess this bunch is busy today? I've done the same so will be having to spend at least a part of this day getting some of those things done :(
That makes me a little sad. It's really not a bad place, but it is very different from anywhere else so it can be a bit of a culture shock. There's lots to like here.

    Good morning Mixxy :)
Ah, sorry about that but just the thought of that place is scary to me ... but then, I've rarely left Arkansas either. Texas was probably the largest, busiest place I ever went  I really have little desire to travel anyway ;)

It's okay. NY is definitely not for everyone.
