Look I have had it all week, so have my elderly folks. Without the Vitamin C regimen outlined below, I don't want to think how very bad things would be. As it stands now we are wonky, but winning.
(In case y'all don't know this is the Swine Flu. Remember?)
Here is what you need to do to whoop it:
First a brief recap.
Vitamin C isn't stored in the body, it is a water soluble vitamin.
What this means is good and not so good.
The good? You can take ridiculous amounts without any seriously malignant effects as it does not accumulate in fatty deposits.
The not so good? Because of this,
you absolutely without a doubt must continue dosing it in intervals while you are awake. Yes it's a PITA especially when you are sick and don't fee like effing with it (or anything)......but your system absolutely requires saturation so that it, the Vitamin C, can do it's job.
So, design wise, it's a little more intense than a simple flush, because you are pushing your Vitamin C intake as if your own body was making it within itself. Like I said earlier humans and bats are the only creatures on earth that cannot internally produce our own vitamin C.
Unfortunately, the only true measure of this is reaching "bowel tolerance".
Once you reach bowel tolerance, it's your body saying
"Okay, thanks for all the ammunition, but let us fight off the enemy, so deliver some more ammo when we are in need again"
Which just means your body saying "Enough already......for now"
Saturday, when I was in the vicious throes of the initial and worst phase of this Influenza, I ingested (from midnight to midnight)
50 grams in divided doses. Yeah, that's a total of
50,000 milligrams.
I didn't reach bowel tolerance until I got to 32 grams.
(Which means that every nanogram of that Vitamin C was being completely utilized, so our metaphorical little soldiers had more than enough to win the battle.)
Then I just waited about 2 hours and resumed.
So here it is quick and dirty:
Procure Vitamin C crystals. Unbuffered. Just
pure Ascorbic Acid. This is important. If you have succeeded in this endeavour, the label should say:
Each quarter (1/4) teaspoon equals 1000mg Vitamin C.
Begin your dose as such:
4000mg (1 teaspoon)
wait 30 minutes
Take 2000mg more.
wait 30 minutes
At this, your an hour in, and have 6 grams in your system. (You are probably won't see bowel tolerance now if you are sick), so
Take 2 grams more..
Getting close to bowel tolerance probability, (unless you are really sick, then probably no bowel tolerance)
wait 30 minutes
Take 2 grams more, making it ten grams in two hours. Most all healthy people will have bowel tolerance at 6-8 grams. No matter how sick you are, at this point you should be noticing some miraculous improvement of your symptoms.
wait 30 minutes
2 grams more.
And etc, until you are producing loose watery bowels. Then stop and wait 1 1/2 to 2 Hrs and repeat.
Important note;
Don't freak out about the ......... This is not the variety you get when you have a stomach bug. It's very watery,and non-malignant and not so powerful that you can't control it. (Mostly)
Also, You need a B-50 style vitamin complex. I got mine at Wally World. 3 bucks
Last but not least, CoQ10 100mgs. 1 in the morning and one in the evening.

There. Do it, get healthy and recover.
