Pomegranate trivia:
Pomegranate is the best food there is for HEART HEALTH for lowering blood pressure and also cholesterol.
Brain health: poms reduces thickening of the arteries that supply blood to the brain.
Cancer fighter: Poms have the ability to induce cancer cells to self destruct (apoptosis), specifically in breast, prostate and colon cancer cells.
Inflammation (the silent killer): Think arthritis on this one or just aches & pains. Poms are the more effective than anything else. If you have pain, then you have inflammation. Inflammation usually precedes degenerative disease.
I personally believe that our Heavenly Father made the pomegranate sacred. (i.e., Exd 28:34; A golden bell and a pomegranate upon the hem of the robe round about. (What God instructed Moses and Aaron to wear when ministering to the ppl).

Theres another verse (forget where) where God instructed, in the construction of the temple, to make a ceiling/wall border alternating cherubim and pomegranates. Too lazy to look it up

A breakfast granola recipe I found featuring lots of cranberry juice. Should be served in a bowl of coconut, almond, rice or flax milk to keep it healthy.
Omega Blast Granola
3 Cups Rolled Oats
1 Cup Oat Bran
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
1/4 Cup Freshly Ground Flaxseeds
3/4 Cup Pomegranate Juice
2 Teaspoons Walnut Oil or Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Raisins
Preheat the oven to 325°F. In a big bowl, mix everything except the raisins. Spread the mixture over a nonstick baking pan and bake for 20 minutes, or until nice and brown, stirring occasionally to cook evenly.
Remove from the oven and toss in the raisins. Let cool and put in a glass container for storage in the refrigerator. Makes about 5 cups. Serve one cup granola with one cup nonfat plain yogurt, nonfat milk, or unsweetened soy milk per person.
Cautions: Should let your doc know if you do pomegranate therapy while on heart condition pills, b/c it will definitely change things for the better to where your doc might need to lessen or weaken meds potency or even eliminate.
